This guide runs under the premise that there are two gear score brackets for HR. In the live version this is 299 and below and 300+GS lobbies. Currently, the gear score brackets either are not working, or have been lowered, although we have not heard from Ironmace. In the event the lower gear score bracket gets maxed to 199 instead of 299, prioritize blue rarity Low Boots // Lightfoot boots / Laced Turnshoes with +Additional Movespeed and +Move Speed Bonus % (double movespeed) as well as a blue book with Magic Power and/or Magic Damage % Bonus. Everything else buy green, prioritizing +true magical damage on rings/chaperone/cloak/neck and then opting for Knowledge/Agility to increase spell casting speed and move speed. Will/Magic Power will not be a bad stat to fit in where you can too. This build does not get *much* better if you go above and beyond 300GS, you can spend thousands of gold and creep into 500-600 GS territory but from the 299GS build, you will only gain about +5 movespeed, +5-7 damage on your judge/holy strikes and +10-20% spell casting speed. This is entirely doable but just know once you creep into higher gearscore territory, i do feel like solo caster cleric does not scale as well as many other classes investing the same gold into their builds. I hope this helps somebody out there!
I ONLY play solo cleric. I thought it was a bad class at first but I stuck with it - and it might just be low tier but now I'm a menace lololol. At some point I'll take pvp to HR but wanted to get the class down first
Respect brother🙏. Don't fear HR you can get gear and still be a menace even after the True Magic // Movespeed gear changes that will likely be the new norm going into the wipe! Just slow down your approach and think extra on handling Rogues/Barbs, those are the hardest matchups for solo caster Cleric.
@@zeplore8491 oh I farm bIG money in HR. But keep it pve. I'm just now getting over the stigma of assuming everyone is better or has better gear. But that's what I did in norms. Just throw myself at people knowing I was going to die but thought it over after. Was my positioning bad? Did I let them rush into melee too early? After about a month everything became second nature. Do I win all the time? Hell no lmao. But putting a dent in the amount of players in the raid is just fun lol. Honestly as soon as I hit 20 I didn't go back to norms till I was like level 80 lol. But hiding doesn't get you any better so I forced myself to learn. Kinda like the spell book. My brain couldn't handle weapon swaps and spell swaps at first. Just forced the muscle memory. Sorry for the long response. I FUCKING LOVE THIS GAME!!! every win - every death. Always get a laugh.
