They majorly annoyed me in the show by not including Reek in the Pink Letter... like that's a major part of Ramsay's character, needing someone to be that low around him, to build his own esteem. I guess they didn't include it cause then Sansa would have to explain to Jon what happened to Theon but like.... come on guys.... also like.... Ramsay and Theon are connected, sadly for Theon. without Theon there is no Ramsay and without Ramsay there is no (current) Theon. You can't just separate them and then act like nothing happened. At least Theon is still showing how much Ramsay affected him, even when he gave his speech, he was trying to be strong but with subtle acting Alfie was really about to show how broken Theon still is. Ramsay on the other hand.... not one word? are you kidding me.... I mean... one of the most interesting parts of their relationship in my opinion is the fact that Ramsay, unintentionally, starts to rely on Theon, A LOT, he's obsessed with him for a reason, he's created "Reek" as a person who fullfills his every need, the ying to his yang basically, but he doesn't realize that you get used to things really quickly and then you can't live without them anymore. Don't get me wrong, Ramsay doesn't "love" Theon, he "loves" him like a psychopath "loves" as in, he loves what he provides him with, like an object so to say, he loves how Theon, doing what Ramsay forces him to do, makes him feel. Theon has become a necesity to him. And the show, in my opinion, was actually doing a pretty good job showing that (mainly in season 4) but now Theon is gone and Ramsay doesn't say.... ANYTHING? like.... come on.... (then again, Stannis barely said anything about shireen or stannis.... Asha barely said anything about Balon, Cersei had one scene on Myrcella and then she was completely over it? It seems like the show likes to not deal with grief at all... that stuff is for off screen apparently...?)
I was angry about almost all of the grieving scenes as they've been confusing and unbelievable to watch (literally I don't buy what's happening; they just miss). I guess we have to hold out hope that Ramsay and Theon WILL meet again, instead of Ramsay being killed off by Jon Snow. Maybe then we can gauge more of Ramsay's feelings. I do love Alfie's acting, showing the damage that's been done even though he's free and no longer "Reek." He's a real talent. I feel like D&D aren't committing to Ramsay, as much as everyone claims they love him. He's a villain, sure, but we're not getting the many complex elements of his personality which is what makes him so engaging in the first place.
Yeah, honestly, I don't hold out much hope that they'll meet again sadly. I'd have loved for Theon to be there when he dies, but I don't think it'll happen. And yes! oh god!! Alfie's acting is amazing!! I continue to be amazed by it!! Especially in the last episode when he gave that speech... I mean... he was good at pretending to be "strong" but if you looked into his eyes you could see how broken he still was, kudos to Alfie honestly! And yes, they really simplified Ramsay, sadly. They made him into a cartoon villain with a lot of screentime.... i'd rather have the complex villain from the books with less screentime honestly!
