So many people are like "What is he on?" Dude. Have you seen Anthony Mackie's interview? The dude is as ADHD as I am. Chris is so much calmer and more collected. These are just two very lively actors. They're not on *anything*.

If you’re familiar with anxiety you can see it a little bit in some of his interviews. I think out of all the Avengers actors he does the fewest interviews. As someone with anxiety I’m really impressed with how he does them. I’d probably hide in a corner of the dressing room and have to be pulled out by security...on a good day.

Fucking KNEW it! Cap's fight style was one of the most stand out things in the film, feeling like he actually went through some SHIELD training as opposed to sticking with his 1940s era army style fighting. Glad to know it was intentional and not just for the sake of flashiness.

No, his eyes are small and when he laughs they close more and more, but they are still open. I have such eyes too, when I laugh it looks like I close them, but I actually still can see something. 😄

To me Snowpiercer completely fell apart at the end. I found myself rolling my eyes in the last 10-15 minutes of the movie. Just didn't wrap up well enough at all.

Why is everyone saying that Chris Evans takes medication for his anxiety? The only time he openly mentioned having slight social anxiety, he explicitly stated that he goes to therapy to deal with it. Why are people extrapolating this into him also using drugs???
It's just a theory, a more realistic one at that. To help calm him down and make him less nervous for the interview, he could've just taken a prescribed pill to help make him less anxious. Which could ultimately lead him to be all cheerful and happy.
Of course, he could've just been nervous and jittery this whole time.
Well, it's realistic. He's talked about how he literally feels frozen going into interviews or panels or whatever (not sure the exact wording of it).
because sometimes certain people like to turn everything into something way worse than it is. immediately create a bullshit story.
***** Just because you take anxiety medication doesn't mean you have a disorder, and just because you have an anxiety disorder doesn't mean something is "wrong" with you. If he has social anxiety, he has a disorder most likely (it's called Social Anxiety Disorder. Imagine that.) And you can manage it without meds, as with most every anxiety disorder. But a lot of people have medication for it, and some people have medication they take at certain times during explicitly stressful situations but not every day. Xanax is common for that. Stop making it sound like saying he takes anxiety meds is saying he's crazy. It's not crazy to have an anxiety disorder. They're incredibly common. I have one and I don't take meds for it at all (because I can manage it pretty well), but when I was first diagnosed, I took effexor. It was only to help me out until I could manage it. ALSO, as I said, people with anxiety due to a traumatic or stressful recent event, but don't actually have a disorder, can ALSO be prescribed anxiety meds by a doctor just to help them through the stressful event (like the passing of a spouse or other such traumatic events that can really hurt you, but don't necessarily leave you with PTSD or something.) In other words, medicine for mental conditions is not negative. It's just like taking cough syrup when you have a cold, or Benadryl when your allergies act up. Why is it suddenly a bad thing if it's brain medicine?
Well, there's nothing wrong with that. It's pretty 50/50, but I think what's important is he's generally open about it.
i like chris a lot, he just comes across as a funny & genuinely happy person
one of my favorite things about chris is that he takes the time to really evaluate his character. i feel like other actors just read the script, deliver lines, and don't understand the full depth of their actions/lines, but chris always makes captain america a real person by building a true character.

I'm so sick of people on here saying that he's high, on medication, and the constant bringing up of his anxiety (I sometimes think that people make bigger than what it is). He's been interviewed by Jimmy Fallon 3 times now! Heck he played beer pong with him during Jimmy's run as the late night host! This is probably Chris as his true self - his more relaxed self.
