Israel deescalating the conflict with Iran is a good thing, actually.
Let me know the Palestinians meet requirement 2:
The requisite conditions are five in number: to be admitted to membership in the United Nations, an applicant must (1) be a State; (2) be peace-loving; (3) accept the obligations of the Charter; (4) be able to carry out these obligations; and (5) be willing to do so.
Somehow I think threatening the eradication of an entire ethnic group in their ancestral land is not peace-loving.
Your definition of peace means living under the Israeli boot 24/7. Just like the Camp David Accords, where a two state solution meant Palestinians living in a pseudo state with no military or independent foreign policy or control of their own borders . Naturally Palestinians reject these appalling terms
I agree. Israel not only threatening but committing a wholesale eradication of an ethnic group is not very peace-loving. I am sure this is what you meant? Unless you have a political agenda so you wilfully ignore war crimes as long as its the side you support that is doing it.
@@thedemonking2196 There are 1.4 billion Arabs because they colonized and eradicated most of the cultures in the Middle East. No danger of genocide there. The Jews living in their ancestral homeland are under explicit threat of genocide. Arabs literally declare they are going to wipe out the Jews.
Funny, the ICJ didn't find genocide or war crimes no matter how much bullshit South Africa through at the Court. All they said was it was possible, which translates to in UNese, "we didn't find any war crimes but we REALLY want to blame the Jews like we always do."
@@nayeemhaider8367 Stop trying to kill Jews and there wouldn't be need for self defense, would there?
Palestinians currently see as two state solution as a stepping stone to an Arab one state solution. They literally put it in their charters. How do you make peace with that?
Israel traded the Sinai, which was Israeli by law of conquest the same way the rest of the Middle East is Arab, with Egypt for peace. They make peace with Jordan, with Morocco, with the UAE and soon with Saudi Arabia. Israelis want peace, Palestinians don't,
@@iselmon Firstly, there are 500 Million Arabs. Secondly the Arabs never committed genocide in the middle east, the Arab traders married with the locals which led the locals to accept Islam. Thirdly the Jews might be living in their ancestral homeland but that's a shitty claim, shouldn't the natives of America be allowed to genocide the Americans because they stole their land? Fourthly, no Arab state has ever declared that they were going to wipe out the Jews, Nasser, Saddam and other Pan-Arab leaders only said that they were going to expel the Zionist colonizers as revenge for them trying to wipe out the Arab population of Palestine (The ''Israelis'' were also targeting Arab Jews)
The ICJ rejected South Africa's contentions yes, however they did recognize that Israel was doing horrible stuff and the ICJ did adopt measures to ''condemn'' Israel's actions because Israel was doing like I said horrible stuff. Besides Israel's defence amounted to ''Oh look at these pictures of babies that Hamas totally took and they totally aren't just from Google'' and ''But Hamas do that too so why can't we??'' and of course the ''Hamas nazi!!!'' which are probably the shittiest arguments known to man.
All I'm going to say is that Zionists aren't Jews and Jews aren't Zionists, there are plenty of Jews that hate Israel just like how there's plenty of Muslims that hate Saudi Arabia
Israel never learns their lesson they think they can do anything

"US continues to strongly support two-state solution". Makes you wonder what they mean by that if Palestine isn't included in this plan.
Maybe because half of them still support Hamas terrorists. You don’t negotiate with terrorists.
They mean they support a solution that involves Israel and Palestine. The Palestinians don't like that idea, hence their refusal of every two state agreement ever offered and their actions on Oct 7th.
Palestinians supports one state solution for them that's why they always chant free Palestine from river to the sea which means no Israel... It's the same position of Hamas based on their charter.

While hopeful stuff like stuff doesn't escalate to a world war, but I can see this escalate to one big middle east war.
Nah. The biggest threat to likely come out of this conflict will be if the Iranians announce they have the bomb in an effort to establish parity with Israel. Remember
Nothing ever happens
What the CIA didn't expect.
When addressing conflict resolution, it's imperative to transcend the narrow scope of warfare and weaponry. Consider the intricate dynamics of regions like Israel, Palestine, and Iran; they are deeply entrenched in their respective neighborhoods. Attempts to impose change through coercion often prove futile, as history has repeatedly demonstrated. Reflect on the immense expenditure of resources and loss of lives in conflicts such as the Cold War, Vietnam, and Afghanistan. The Vietnam War alone cost America a staggering 1.1 trillion USD in present-day values, with approximately 58,000 lives lost and 150,000 wounded over two decades. Yet, despite these sacrifices, victory remained elusive.
The collapse of the entire communist bloc came as an unexpected twist, catching even the CIA off guard. Sixteen years after withdrawing from Vietnam, the agency failed to foresee this monumental shift, highlighting the unpredictable nature of historical outcomes. Actions, it seems, can trigger unforeseen reactions, and inaction can yield surprising results.
True transformation often unfolds organically, as exemplified by the collapse of the communist bloc. Iran's resilience mirrors this pattern; the more pressure applied, the more entrenched it becomes.
Effective solutions demand patience and a nuanced approach. Reflect on the rapid decline of once-mighty empires, such as the British Empire, which, despite its former global dominance, now stands fragmented into smaller entities with multiple governments and parliaments. This serves as a poignant reminder to policymakers: lasting change emerges from understanding, dialogue, and time, not from the barrel of a gun or the force of coercion…..
well said.
Israel bombing the absolute shit of a civilian population for 6 months with various footage and evidence of war crimes in every corner of Gaza is considered "self-defense", while Iran retaliating after Israel attacked its embassy, which is considered an extension of the Iranian mainland according to various international agreements and is subject to diplomatic immunity, is considered an act of aggression with the US and the EU immediately imposing sanctions in addition to proposing that Iran be labelled a terrorist state and openly threatening for what is actual self-defense.
It is really not difficult to see the western world with all of its self-proclaimed high moral values and adherence to human rights hypocritically pick and choose said values according to their political agenda.
Iran is neither a hero nor victim, but to label it as the sole aggressor with the narrative that it is dragging the entire region to war, while turning a blind eye to the absolute madness Israel is committing is an unprecedented level of favoritism never seen on this scale before. For an internationally recognized nation to commit documented war crimes without even an ounce of hesitation or any regard to international law, court rulings, or security council resolutions calling it all "non binding" is pure insanity that people seem to ignore.
I could go on and on with examples where such rulings were at least enforced by economic sanctions if not full on military intervention, but it really doesn't matter anymore. The world is losing decades of progress by the day in ensuring the deterrence of potential wars and this could quickly and unexpectedly get ugly, if not now then far into the future.
US is just a global bully and has been since WW2
I agree. I’ve ignored the west and it’s morals. May God help them.
