I love that Ste is still there for John Paul, even with all this crazy going on between the McQueens and James. It shows how strong their friendship can be even through tough times like this.

Char OA leave it to the writers to give these characters amnesia to not remember what happened in the past. 🙄
There's still a difference between Brendan and James. Brendan, who had deep-seated trauma, but a good heart at his core. James is mostly cold-hearted. Besides, Ste changed, too. JP and Ste really got to know each other after Brendan had already left the show, so it makes sense that JP would not know everything about what Brendan did.
@@2makethisgoonforever OA James I believe still has a good heart deep down and he really cares about his Family including his Half-Sister Juliet. I really do love #Stames more than McHays. ☺️

i agree with everything ste said and did here he's right John paul suffered a terrible trauma and bottling up how he truly feels and also taking it out on other people just like james is with the mcqueens he said it himself when he found out they broke the flash drive he was looking for someone to punish and he can't do that to a disease but he could do it to mercy and goldie I love how smart and incitful ste is in this moment to mention all that and try to help john paul

@@K-sv1io John-Paul really did use to hate Ste I think it started with the Joyriding incident John-Paul little sister Michela could of died in the crash secretly pregnant Amy did nearly die she was in coma for sometime but did make a full recovery

People are missing point of the line about the old ste, remember john paul fell in love with the ste after he lost doug and although he was an addict he was a diffterent mad then than with breandan
I guess John-Paul has conveniently forgotten punching Ste because of his anger issues after George, putting Freya in a wheelchair. Does he think those actions only affected him?

Oh my OA I feel so sorry for John Paul he really is hurting badly I also feel sorry for James and Ste both losing their loved ones and when John Paul said “The old Ste wouldn’t’ve been caught dead with a bully like James” he reminded me of when Ste was with that drug dealing, physical abusive, sociopathic, serial killer BB who treated him like a punching bag and John Paul slept with him when they were all in Dublin (although I’m not sure where Dublin is) but again that “relationship” was completely toxic I don’t get why People shipped Ste more with him than Doug. I really do wish I could watch the older episodes from the very beginning online or on here but I can’t along with Days Of Our Lives still I do have a whole bunch of questions about these older characters that People have mentioned on here too even when that Female who was wanting Zara to rob a bank. (and I don’t mean Grace Black) I really can’t wait to see what’ll happen for John Paul with Carson even though he’s Freya’s Father I do think he’ll be able to try and help John Paul get through this somehow. 😟🤞🏻

ste and james have got to be one of the most ridiculous pairings in this shows history... more like the real JAMES would never be caught dead with ste! the way they've completely retconned how much they both hated each other is insane. i hope the new producer that takes over kills this ship asap although i'll never be invested in this show again after the way it treated harry and jarry
True, James hated Ste for a long time, first because of Jean Paul, then because of Harry, not that Ste didn't hate James, who wanted to frame him for Amy's murder, when Ste had memory problems... I wouldn't be so quick to get into his bed... Inolte James once made believe to throw Ste (in the trunk of a car), from a cliff to see if Jean Paul still loved Ste or not ... Let's say that James has always been a bit cruel and wicked... Ste should have planted him on his feet, not married him.
The trash writers will be gone soon. I still have hope that the show will improve by the end of the year.
