- My EDC bag needed some organizing so small maker Matt who makes leather every day carry pieces under his company Foolish Pride Leather made a leather Molle compaible leather organizer for everything. It's capable of carrying pens, knives, flashlights challenge coins, and more knives and made out of thick horween leather. Men need something nowadays like this when in a t shirt and shorts because just leaving the house we need at least a phone , keys, wallet and knife . Maybe flashlight on the keychain but that’s enough in my pocket so a little side pack is needed to free up some pocket space for movement and sitting purposes right

I carry this literally every day to work. I mainly keep my switch or analogue pocket it in now.
Finally someone who's honest about the FANTASY that is EDC. It's just mental LARPING about being Indiana Jones. It's fun, I enjoy it, but we have to be honest with ourselves. We almost never use the vast majority of the tools and trinkets we carry. We're all just grown up toddlers wanting to feel cool.

It's like you held up a mirror. There I am in my crappy ass Levi's with a hole in the crotch from 30 pounds ago. I have a wax canvas XL multi-tool organizer in my right and left pocket which does my figure no favors. In my left I carry a pen light, a Leatherman, a key organizer, and my cold steel 4-max scout. Phone, pen, field note book, 5" pocket fixed blade, and minimalist wallet balloon the right.
My wife's brow is furrowed with concern, her eyes flit between me and our bank statement.
"My love, do you remember spending [an amount I'm ashamed to admit to strangers, even whilst anonymous] at [some knife or EDC dealer, take your pick]?"
In truth, I do not. The waning of the dopamine informs me of my sins.
"Who is this soft handed fancy lad who fails at cosplaying someone who works with their hands for a living?" you might ask.
To which I'd say, "though you don't know my name, it's clear you know exactly who I am."
I cannot claim the struggles of the working man for myself, though many of my future patients certainly do.
Maybe I'll never be able to forgive myself, but I strive, nonetheless, to one day be worthy of the love and esteem my wife has for me, as well as the gratitude of those I serve.
