This Video neglects to mention that in order to share games across computers (serperate computers) you first need to log into both accounts. Example, If i wanted to share games with my girlfriend in the other room, she would need to log me out, log her information, enable family sharing, log out, log me back in, I enable family sharing. that would share her games to me. ti's the same process for her computer in the other room, in order for my games to pop up on her PC. hope that helps

Your friend has to log in on your computer and enable sharing, then you can log back in with your account. At least, that's what I did with my friends so they could play my games.

with steam you cant play two games on 1 acount at the same time. if you do try to do this it will put you in offline mode and you will not be able to play multiplayer games so you would need to create a seperate account - best of luck - BB

You need to log into your account on her computer and enable sharing, then, she logs back into her account on her computer. That's what I did with a friend, I logged into my account on his computer and enabled sharing, then he logged back into his account on his computer, and all my games were there for him to play.

if you are using different computers you need to log in to the other account on your PC, you also need to log in to your account on the other PC, hope this helps
Ok, so I know I'm very late but I'm trying to get a game called gorilla tag on my alt account as it recently started costing money and in case I got banned or something I could still play but when I go onto it on my other account using this family sharing thing it says "Purchase" not borrow I've researched it and people say to go into downloads on settings and do "clear download cache" but it doesn't work. If anyone has figured this out please let me know
Well I'll help you friend I was in the same to be able to share the account you have to first go to options and put where it says share library and blah blah as it was in the video but before you do that you have to open your friend's account or your secondary account on the same pc you use also you must have steam guard activated in your main account and secondary account then you wait a day and when you go to library should appear to share your other account I hope it works for you.

Unfortunately that doesn't work. Co-op gaming while family sharing is not possible to say the least.
