The Fragrance Apprentice who worked for Creed said, Club De Nuit Sillage smells more like the original Silver Mountain than the current Silver Mountain does. So if you want to recommend Silver Mountain you should probably recommend the clone ironically.
They are doing an amazing job. In a weird way, i feel like Sillage is like the original SMW but with a nice little modernity added to it. I dont see it as a cheap alternative to anything, more like its own take on What they loved about silver mountain water. Just my take on it.
It's legit, Sillage smells more like the sample that made me fall in love with SMW years ago than current SMW (or at least the 2017 bottle I got a few years ago), and has spectacular performance.
Watched a video of someone who use to work at Creed and he heard rumors of Sillage smelling more like older SMW than current SMW so he tested the idea and his jaw hit the floor when he confirmed CDN Sillage was just like older SMW and the new SMW was a lot worse.
I love silver mountain water. Its my favorite scent. Because of curly scents I bought Sillage. The result is pretty amazing: My bottle of smw will never get empty. Sillage is so much nicer, I feel crazy saying this. I love it!
Club de Nuit Intense was my first Armaf, my son and I call it the "King" because of it's longevity, but I recently bought Armaf The Warrior and it's looking pretty promising, but I wouldn't mind Tres Nuit! Thanks Ashton for all the great reviews!
Club De Nuit Intense Man is my favorite. It got me into fragrances (per your recommendation lol) , due to all of the Aventus hype and was curious to how the Aventus DNA smells like.
I had a late 2021 batch of SMW then purchased this. I couldn't notice any huge differences whatsoever (if anything the ARMAF smelled slightly better and lasted 3 times as long) and as a normal consumer (not a chemist or professional) it was a no brainer to send SMW back and keep the ARMAF.
Right now my favourite is CDNIM, I haven't had opportunity to try others so far, but I hope I will. Also I love Cool water, so I guess I would also like Tree nuit ☺️
The detail that is making me go pay full retail for this is not the note breakdown, but rather, that the cap has more sharp edge . Of course it's CDNIM. Thanks Ash

Thank you Ashton for an in-depth review of CDN Sillage. I will order the scent once the price gets bit lower than what it is upon its introduction. As with you, I never wear clones, except in the case of Creed scents clpnes, as the original Creed scents, are so expensive. The first and only time I had a clone is CDN Intense Man that I just bought early November 2020, and I was impressed with the scent. Warmest regards.
Excellent review, and because of it I purchased CDN Sillage. It arrived today, and it was so spot on to the review and the Creed. Well done Ashton! I also have CDN Milestone, and it was another spot on. Based on all my CDN flankers, CDNIM EDP or Parfum would be my favorite.
The original Club de unit intense men is my favorite. I have been planning to try Ventana, Tres Nuit, Milestone. Maybe a video on most accurate/best Armaf clones would be nice too :P

Currently my favorite scent by Armaf is Club de Nuit Milestone. Gets really close to that air-ey vibe that the original creed had. Although something about the atomizer is kind of goofy, and always seems to "bubble" up rather than come out in a solid and consistent spray. Anyone else have this problem?
Just got it today the performance is insane, silver mountain last 2-3 hours on me. Sillage 6 hours and counting!!! Paid 310 dollars for creed, currently can't smell it is gone now!

My favorite is Milestone - fantastic price/quality ratio. Alexandria Citron del Mar is just a bit better with slightly better performance but you pay twice as much.
Was waiting on this video even though I have the fragrance on the way. Sounds like I won’t regret the purchase, especially with both you and Steven speaking highly of it. Favorite Armaf? Not sure that I have one. But I do want to try the new(ish) EDP version of Intense Man. Milestone was great. I have high hopes for Sillage.
I really enjoy Armafs Italiano Uomo Nero, I pair it with CDNIM just to give it that extra pineapple pop and i think it works super well. Ive always been curious about Tres Nuit and Hunter Man Intense. Either way, Sillage sounds like it may hit pretty hard as well in the community. Great stuff as always!
It seems to be a great idea. I purchased IUN to save my vintage Black XS but it disappointed me. I'll try your layering suggestion, hopefully works for me.
hunter intense smells very mass appealing and nothing special. performance wise is nice tho 6-7 hours of longevity, maybe about 2 hours of projection, smells really nice tho but very mass appealing. smells a bit like sauvage idk edt or edp

Just got mine the other day 3/24/22 Never smelled SMW. Love Sillage a lot!! Spring banger $40. Only negative I can say is when I remove the sprayer.. the shape of the spray tube is such that I won’t be able to fill my travel (15ml) atomizer without spilling/wasting some juice. I got a 3-4 solid hours but I couldn’t breathe for the first 15 minutes. It comes out the gate STRONG.
The silver Mountain water from around ten years ago was absolutely stunning... Tested a newer bottle a few months ago... Absolutely not the same quality..... I need to try this armaf clone....
Yeah creed you pay an arm & leg for & their quality isn't nearly the same as they use to. I caved in and picked up this fragrance & club de nuit milestone on fragrancebuy today.

I own a few Armaf fragrances and Milestone is by far my favourite. Smells very close to MI and is still different enough from what most people wear compared with CDNIM etc.
Hello Ash! Thanks for another great video! My favorite Armaf is Club De Nuit Intense Man (EDP!)... gotta go with the Killer! The OG that Armaf is known for! It is one of the beat Aventus clones on the market, so credit where credit is due (as far as clones are concerned). I have Aventus too, and I enjoy CDNIM because I use it for more casual situations when I don’t want to use the more expensive juice of Aventus... when I want that Aventus type DNA but don’t want to waste my Aventus for the type of situation that doesn’t “deserve” my Aventus Haha. And most people that smell you that have an untrained nose would not be able to tell the difference anyway lol. However, the only Armaf I own is CDNIM, so I guess it wins by default because I haven’t smelled any others, but I’d love to get my hands on this one too because I have heard great things and heard that is does the same for Green Irish Tweed that CDNIM does for Aventus! CDNIM has been my favorite for a while but I wouldn’t mind it being dethroned by an affordable clone of Creed’s VIW. I’ve sworn by Gorse as an alternative but it’s quite pricey considering it’s a clone. Keep em comin buddy!
I have both Aventis and Armaf Intense. Get great compliments on both but Aventis smell more expensive than Intense. Can’t really tell the difference unless you own both fragrances. I usually wear Aventis when I’m with the wife and Armaf Intense at work. Going to try the Sillage by Armaf. 👍👍

Armaf Derby Blanche White Cologne has been my favorite Armaf because it is very similar to SMW, which is my favorite Creed, so I'll definitely have to give this one a try!
Though I greatly enjoy CDNIM, my favorite Armaf is Shades Wood. I'm glad that the weather is cooling down, allowing me to put it back into my rotation; while I generally ignore situational recommendations for what to wear when, that's one I never wear in the summer.

Sillage can’t touch silver mountain on the opening (nothing can) but after ten minutes sillage and silver mountain are extremely hard to tell apart and sillage lasts longer. I do 2-3 sprays of sillage, get dressed then one spray of silver mountain as I’m walking out the door and there isn’t a person on earth who would know

Just received my bottle today! I'm very impressed with this juice. This is by far the best video describing Sillage. I paid 65.00 though from FragranceX.I would suggest easy on the spray, you don't need a whole!!

Hey Ash, friend here! LOL. My favourite from the House of Armaf is Armaf Club de Nuit Milestone. As we all know, it is the clone of Creed Millesime Imperial. I love the sea salt accord in the fragrance. Not gonna lie I was influenced by The Fragrance Apprentice because Millie is his fav and he was impressed by Milestone. Would love to bring the Armaf Tres Nuit into my collection!
I've only tried CDNIM so far so that's my favorite. The performance on my 2020 batch is really great. Sprayed some on before bed and could still clearly smell it in the morning.

I have never smelled any armada but I have smelled the parfums vintage clones of smw- alpine winds/intense. Not bad. Have you tried those?

I'm going with Armaf, club de nuit intense. Since its the only one I have tried.
Le Parfait is my favorite because the dry down in unique and works outdoors in cooler weather!
I owned many Armaf frags and It has to be CDNIM!!! Can be used on all occasion and events. Best Bang for your buck perfume!
Armaf Derby Blanche White Cologne has been my favorite Armaf because it is very similar to SMW, which is my favorite Creed, so I'll definitely have to give this one a try!

Though I greatly enjoy CDNIM, my favorite Armaf is Shades Wood. I'm glad that the weather is cooling down, allowing me to put it back into my rotation; while I generally ignore situational recommendations for what to wear when, that's one I never wear in the summer.

My silage says ARMAF on the sprayer. While the CDNIM does not say ARMAF on the sprayer and it smells rancid, I’m pretty sure its fake.
Thanks for offering Tres Nuit. I own several from Armaf. My favorite is Le Parfait. The only one I do not like is Club De Nuit Intense Woman.It has a "dirt" scent to my nose. Peace and Love.
Sillage can’t touch silver mountain on the opening (nothing can) but after ten minutes sillage and silver mountain are extremely hard to tell apart and sillage lasts longer. I do 2-3 sprays of sillage, get dressed then one spray of silver mountain as I’m walking out the door and there isn’t a person on earth who would know
Le Parfait....... I don't know why i haven't subscribed before..i have watched and enjoyed all your takes on colognes.i have blind bought 4 times from your reviews alone...haven't been disappointed in the slightest.
Just received my bottle today! I'm very impressed with this juice. This is by far the best video describing Sillage. I paid 65.00 though from FragranceX.I would suggest easy on the spray, you don't need a whole!!

Hey Ash, friend here! LOL. My favourite from the House of Armaf is Armaf Club de Nuit Milestone. As we all know, it is the clone of Creed Millesime Imperial. I love the sea salt accord in the fragrance. Not gonna lie I was influenced by The Fragrance Apprentice because Millie is his fav and he was impressed by Milestone. Would love to bring the Armaf Tres Nuit into my collection!
I haven’t ventured into an Armaf cologne yet. I’ll have to give this one a try. Thanks for the awesome review!
I've only tried CDNIM so far so that's my favorite. The performance on my 2020 batch is really great. Sprayed some on before bed and could still clearly smell it in the morning.

My favorite Armaf is Tres Bon. I also really like Le Parfait which smells similar to Tres Bon. I’ve never smelled Silver Mountain Water, I need to get a sample of that.
That bottle is like 5lbs and has sharp edges. If your wife get mad at you...watch out! Great channel by the way 👏
Club de unit intense is my favorite from Armaf, but I hope they will create a lot of other great scents in the near future.
