    I had booked the rainbow mountain before watching this video and almost cx. Glad I didn't. It is a beautiful place, maybe not with the enhanced colors you see on peoples pictures. Definitely worth it. The people in the mountain are so humble. We went up on a horse and climbed some of it. Take the Muna tea being sold, we found it very helpful. We enjoyed some Alpaca Chicharron made by a local. Like Ryan says there are other mountains but this 16000 foot mountain was gorgeous.

    Hi great video with tips that I haven’t heard from the other videos we have watched! Thanks for the content!
    Husband and I are headed there in august. He walks with a cane + uses a mobility scooter that we hope to take (this will be a trip where I will be planning down to the fine details).
    We have 13 days to travel around + will take our time with much rest 😃
    Would you recommend that we :
    A. Fly to Cusco (your/rest/acclimate for 4-5 days) then Peru hop back to Lima with stops at lake titcaca, nazca, huacachina?
    Or
    Do you think we should do the reverse? Thereby seeing matchu Picchu almost last and then flying back to Lima?

    • @RyanFila
      @RyanFila  2 года назад +1

      Thank you! I flew the drone from many different places, just be careful with your zones and with the airport near by! Especially if you don't have cellular connection when you're flying. I would recommend making sure you're at least on wifi so you can respond if zones change while you're in flight.

    Amigo, thanks for taking the time to post your perspective! Out of all the vids I've looked at lately, this one was the most straight-forward and honest, So My question is: did you book well in advance for your Machu Picchu excursion from Cusco, or was it a show up and go? My concern is the ridiculous cost that comes with planning ahead vs knowing that there are only certain amounts of people per day admitted to the site. I would like to know a lot more from your experience because it seems that honest information is hard-to-come-by when one's itinerary is being left open I want to see the thing but I feel like I'm looking at too steep a price. Not that the tour guides don't deserve good income for top notch service, but I'm getting mixed signals without clarity. tyia

      By the way your photos are incredible! I'm about to embark on my Peru journey with a Rebel Ts6 and I have barely touched the surface of how to use this machine. The entire reason the old-school camera came to me was specifically for Peru since everyone in my life knows it's my main dream to go. If you have camera tips, I could sure use them too

    • @RyanFila
      @RyanFila  2 года назад

      Hey! Thanks for such a genuine comment and asking good questions! I would say it depends on how risk averse you are as a person for how far in advance you want to book the Machu Picchu tickets. I would recommend getting them at least a week in advance though. I don't know what the current travel amount is right now for Machu Picchu though! I have started doing some travel consulting though if you want to dive really deep in on it! 😃

    • @RyanFila
      @RyanFila  2 года назад

      Oh wow,, thanks again! I love shooting while I'm on the road and Perú was one of my favorite locations to shoot in hands down! My biggest tip with photography is go out and DO it. That is one art that I've found is really based on just practicing and adjusting. But, of course I have a lot of small adjustment advices for how to use your camera, they're just hard to put all in a RUclips comment 😂 Overall my biggest advice is 100% go out and get after it! 😃 ❤️

      @@RyanFila Hey Ryan, I want to add to this question because I was previously aware of the MP admission regardless of hiking in (original plan was Inca Trail) and train in. My struggle is with the idea of booking an entire trip ahead of time at an exorbitant amount and a "guarantee" vs being there and having a slightly flexible date to do the day trip (hike no longer an option). Point is I know there are only a certain amount of visitors allowed per day and I am tossed because I want to see the thing but also not be rick-rolled by the IP address.
