A proposal is one way to communicate the value you'll bring to your client's business, and it doesn't have to be complicated. You can check out my video on proposals here - ruclips.net/video/y8H9kjtXvQA/видео.htmlsi=jH2vUoFkUQAXayfG
hey there! you accidentally spelled your name wrong in that hashtag. :) i want people to see all your videos when they look for your name!! this one was super helpful.
Hey Sarah. I need help with this - you said after we agreed to the test project, we should send a contract and invoice. But since the project is free, what should be there in the invoice? Because the client hasn't yet confirmed the work relation as long as they review the test work. Maybe my question is a bit funny.
As a new social media agency, I need some help with our social media management monthly services, what would you recommend as a test project? I mean I have ideas, but would be better if I get some insights from you or someone reading this comment.
I’ve never done social media management before, I’ve only written copy, so I’m probably not the best person to ask about this. But test projects can be just a small portion of what you’ll ultimately be providing. So maybe it's a week's worth of services just to give it a trial run to make sure that you both like each other. It's not something that you need to do once you have more experience, but it's something I recommend newbie copywriters do to protect themselves. Because in the early days, you're less likely to be able to spot a potential red red flag client. It also allows your client to say yes to you more easily, especially if you've reached out in an outbound strategy.
@@SarahTurnerAgency Just saw your reply, Sarah. Thanks a lot. And this is exactly what I planned "'a week worth content" or something similar going forward. Thanks again. :)
@@SarahTurnerAgency "first step on your proposal?" So it sounds like you are saying we should come up with a whole project proposal before doing the first test project? What if the test project doesn't go well? Then it would've been a waste of time coming up with a whole project proposal that addressed all of the client's wants/goals/wishes, etc.
@@oldmoney1022no just come up with a small test project proposal like writing an email or 3 emails or 1 blog post or 1 sales letter, and mention that you can discuss bigger projects if they like if the test p goes well
Hi Sarah! Loved the part about a test project! Do you charge your clients a fee for the test project?

Hi! No question is funny. 😊 I never recommend working for free, you can still charge your standard rate for the test project.

After the discovery call, do I propose them the test project first or I should also propose the whole project?
I recommend including the test project as the first step on your proposal.
