Maple Bourbon Glazed Pork chops on the Pit barrel smoker|Tophat smoking BBQ

  • Ingredients:6 pork chops, Brine:64 Oz Apple Juice, 1 cup salt, 1 cup brown sugar. Pecan rub, Garlic rub, Honey Rub. Glaze: 1 cup maple Syrup, 1/2 cup honey, 2 shots bourbon
    Recipe:
    1.Mix brine together
    2.Put pork chops into brine, let sit for 3-4 hours
    3.Apply rubs tp pork chops after removing them from the brine
    4.Put into smoker and space out evenly
    5.Flip pork chops(Be careful with smoke and wear proper gloves)
    6.At around 140 degrees Fahrenheit, apply glaze to pork chops with a brush or bottle(Remember to apply glaze to both sides)
    7.Upon reaching 145 degrees Fahrenheit, apply more glaze and remove from smoker
    8.Let rest for 1/2 hour
    9.Take out of resting and enjoy
