This Dredge documentary is about the small studio, Black Salt Games and how they created their Cosmic fishing horror game Dredge. Learn about how they quickly created multiple prototypes using their incredible work for hire skills and even playtested them all within 2 weeks. Dredge is my favourite game i have ever played. I don't know what about it just sticks with me so much. Its the first game i ever 100%ed (and keep coming back to 100% my save profile with the paints and new Pale Reach DLC) and showed me how much fun fully completing games are. Im sad that the devs didn't end up winning anything during the Game Awards but super happy that they were nominated at least. Super cool and talented dev team and i can't wait to see what they make next.

There is a Lovecraft story called 'The Shadow over Innsmouth'. Its about a travellers experience in a port town populated by fishmen who are the ancestors of Dagon, one of Lovecraft's gods. Dredge gives me the same vibe as reading that short story.
