"Phenex (NT) is a gen ms." Ok, ok, expected it to be a raid or support. But this will take me a while to accept. "She has a skill that increases MA, boost speed and gives her collision damage in NT-D mode." Ok, ok, sounds interesting. "Has 2 melee weapons in NT-D mode." Ok, first off, we only saw him using them with his beam tonfas. Plus, in gbo2, he's supposed to be a ranged gen. Now she sounds like a raid in a gen body. Gbo2, what were you guys thinking? "Also, activating awakening mode gives her allies hp." WTF. THAT SOUNDS SO SUPPORT. WHY GIVE IT TO HIM. NOW HE'S A JACK OF ALL TRADES. YOU'LL FUCK THE WHOLE 700 COST ROOMS WITH THIS DEMON. *rolls for her anyways for personal matters*
Ah yet another MS that houses the soul of a young female Newtype, which was totally not the cause of less than stellar methods used by scientists in their faction issued by the top brass.
It feels far healthier than it was around the time the Unicorn and Banshee came out. Though it's still a really mixed bag of hard to obtain suits that have pushed really hard to one-up each other instead of just getting their own identities. Recent buffs and nerfs have left a lot of 650 suits and the original 700 suits much more usable, but the level of aggression with MA and other abilities on generals and raids has left a big hole where only two native 700 cost supports even exist to push back, and it took a long time to make the Dag Doll usable. I'm really surprised they haven't dropped the Rozen Zulu yet, as it is literally built to foil so many of the problem suits, while being a perfect example of a support that should be fast and melee-capable. Though maybe BB could just throw balancers on stuff like the Quess Jagd Doga. At least at level 2.
@@scottwrathfon9872That is a fair assessment, 700 has gotten alot better as of late. I found it wasn't bad when just the unicorn was introduced. The Sinanju was a problem child at first but it was manageable with a decent support. Same with the Kshatriya, close the distance and it melts. The Banshee, is when it started. Then the Phenex came out and started dominating 700. For a while every match had 2-3 of them and it made 700 unenjoyable.
Forget players acting like they're the game's protagonist, anytime I see an S- sortie in this it feels more like fighting the final boss. Your offense, defense, and speed are all outclassed. It's a constant barrage at just about any range. Even if you do catch it in an unfavorable spot, preventing it from escaping is just as difficult. I'm terrified to see whatever the next stage of power creep looks like after this monster
Man, with my first unit in 700 being Stein, I feel the powercreep from these two units. I'm actually scared the addition of other 2 unicorns (FA unicorn and Banshee Norn) as the unicorns always come out strong.
@@enderwinner5473 both fa and norm would definitely be shooty freakshows. Plus, FA is technically no a fa ms, all it has is just a bunch of weapons strapped on it and 2 huge boosters meant to bypass the frontline, so there'll be a chance of it being a space raid, heck, it might have a purge ability like the stein do.....but fuckin worse(for the enemy). Despite norm being suitable as a speedy, shooty gen, there's a chance that it'll be a support too. There has been ms that are supposed to be fast(like hamma²) but isn't really fast due to support tax.
Oh yeah now that you said about it i hope that this game someday or even GBO3 Bandai would released the Double OO Raiser that is my dream Gundam and it would turn out to be quite as strong as the suits from UC
Don't let this video take away from the fact that this man got hit by an E.ZZ Heavy Attack. Jokes aside....man fuck this suit. Here's hoping it gets some much needed adjustments this month. It AND Stein certainly need them.
I don't ever use Phenex for melee unless I really have to. I'm surprised you think it possesses the best downswing in the game. I always thought the unicorn's downswings in destroy mode were the best, personally. Guess I've been missing out
It's basically like a Stamen downswing combined with a Dra-C downswing on crack. It comes out really fast and the tonfa swap time is lightning quick. Can't really beat 2 seconds cooldown for such high damage either on a 3500 power saber. If you get used to it you can basically snipe people from miles away with it. Same modifiers as the Unicorn Gundam but the tonfa animation is viable enough to start and end combos with, actually making the damage higher if both are in their Awaken states.
Honestly, I would consider Phenex on its own to be incredibly op (albeit like you mention, hard to use), but in a sense, it did already get indirectly nerfed on the same day it got released (beam magnum getting its AOE and leg damage reduced, awakening getting a damage loss, along with the earlier nerf to NT-D's duration and radius so funnel suits can actually exist). It is incredibly powerful, but at least it feels like a decent player can still outplay it or a bad phenex player will actually suffer for making bad judgments. If the nerfs never came though.... then yeah, 700 cost would just been flat-out unplayable to this very day. Probably the worst thing admittedly is that it does feel like it invalidates Nu in alot of ways outside of the latter having more ballistic weaponry and having access to a shield right away rather than having to wait till you taken enough damage.
Use it before fighting somebody in close combat. It will block at least one stun from them which gives you plenty time to fire back with your own and downswing them.
I hate all three of the Unicorn but phenex I find the most annoying to deal with. Only because I’m usually pit in lobbies with full or close to full teams of unicorns vs my team comprised of lv4/lv3 suits just get rammed sacked.
I can't ace this MS for the life of me because A) teams are getting very ridiculously dumb, nonexistent IQ nor know how to team play and B) People kept stealing my kills when i'm winning a 1v1, itd be a different story if I was getting hammered in a 3v1 but good god this MS is hard to ACE, I love it but people need to stop being braindead in rated matches.
This thing is no cap the one thing holding 700 back from being varied. Every other RX-0s have things that can surpass and/or equalize them except this piece of shit suit. BB just need to tone this thing down and 700 is probably gonna be way less of a shitshow than it is now

Pretty much everything past 500 becomes all out chaos

When people say that the type triangle doesn’t matter in GBO2, they’re generally referring to units like this.

It has been modified numerous times. Indubitably.
Indubitably 🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐
That second game I was the Todestrider in I thought my ZZ just ran in. Now I see they were pretty much dead before trying
GG! Yeah that guy ran in a lot without his team unfortunately.

@Avenger1_ GBO2 it kind of reminds of the downswing on the three bladed beam saber the quebeley mk2 has, now that I think about it.

What a cutie with twintail- I mean twin shield(shields have tail too so lol)
Man, it doesn’t make sense that the Awaken ability only lowers damage. Like where’s the payoff?? It should atleast raise defense
I dunno if I mentioned it in the description but it does raise defence. You take 15% less damage from all sources while it is active.
@@avenger1_gbo260oh, well that’s good to know, I feel like since it raises the defense it should be shown on the in-game arrow bars

can you explain a little bit the timing for using the shield? Im playing this MS quite often but seldom use it.

Use it before fighting somebody in close combat. It will block at least one stun from them which gives you plenty time to fire back with your own and downswing them.
how to activate phenex shields?, or those activates without do things?
It's a specific weapon you have to use while transformed. You might need to set the key to use it in the menu before a match.
