These spotlights are always giving great pop. Not sure I would choose this gobo and this color, but spot is a must have (I have the smaller one - amaran :D).
Excellent video. You made a very boring room into a great set with a few props and excellent lighting choices. Congratulations on your 20,000 milestone.
I think something I need to push myself more in is having the boldness to add more colours into my sets. I worry that the client or audience will be taken out of it by it seeming artificial but sometimes my lighting may be too naturalistic when the scene needs something more. Also, congrats on 20K!
Nice and very informative videos you make! Definetely liked it best with the blinds down 👍🏼 The red background light was a bit smudgy - did you try with blue color? Other than that I really like the style of videos your posting! The headband is a bit distracting though 😆 ...and would wish that you were using Canon cameras instead 🤪
Love the channel, can you do a video on how to start getting jobs? I have all these lights, but who do I get to hire me? For someone who’s had jay oh bees (sales, corporate, etc.) my whole life, can you plz do a video on getting that first job? Thanks, love the content! 👏
It looks good, especially given what you had to work with. My only question is why did you choose to go with red for the accent lights? I guess it's easy to associate that color with the medical field to some degree or other, but I would love to hear what went into the decision making process about that.
Thanks so much! They are a Paramedic School, so it goes along with the red lights you often see with EMS. Their branding is teal, but blue is known more for Police.
As a former firefighter/paramedic, I like the red. But maybe a little blue splashed in would have been nice or the the T4C with the emergency lights flashing would have been cool…or not, too distracting?
Hi ya, Piotr: Thanks for the video! I like how you bring two carts full of gear plus G&E and then say that you "went small." Which makes me wonder if you are charging yoiur clients rental fees for all of your gear? And if this was an agency job, are agencies willing to pay for rental fees???
I just got the 19degree spot light mount . Do you recommend it should get a 36? Do you see a need for both lenses and do you have more than one ? If so which one do you use the most ?
@@PDMokry I lately was looking for 1TB V90 cards :D, but I guess you are right. But form the other hand if you record to both slots, the risk is not that high I guess. What is annoying Sony cameras (at least my A7IV) refuse to record on V60 the All-I at 25p. V60 is fully capable to sustain such bitrate, but since you can also record 60p in this codec the camera says you need v90 :(.
When I have control over production, I say 2-3hrs. Most clients that sub me out give me just 1hr to setup. So they get a 1 hour look vs a 3 hour look. I know exactly how that feels! Like, go grab a coffee! BYE!

Again another great educational video. Thank you :)
Thanks so much!
Congrats on 20K! That's a huge accomplishment!
Put out great content and it's great seeing 20K subscribers. Well deserved!
Another extremely detailed educational lighting setup for interviews video. Please keep these in depth educational how to videos. 😬🎥🥳🔥
Thank you for the BTS video!
Thanks for stopping by!
I love to see your work as a gaffer/videographer. Hard to find this kind of detailed content about the topic.
I have a spotlight in route for this very reason. Love the look brother!
They are great to have in the kit! love mine so far.
It is always very cool to see how different people treat WWS (white wall syndrome). Thank you very much for taking the time to make these videos.
LMAO!! I was sitting here like "looks amazing???"
That's what clients think!

Thank you very much for the support! It was a tough one!
Another great video😊
Thanks for watching!
@0:55 I was like… what are you talking about 😂
Should have just kept going! lol
@@PDMokry Such an amazing space... the flourescent overhead lighting is perfect... I didn't even need to bring lights! lol

Also, congrats on 20K!
Whenever I'm supposed to be in a room like this, I stop right there in the doorway, and ask if there's any, literally any other location available. 😄
That's why you wait to unload. Sorry gotta head out!
What is that little attachment that holds the tube light to the boom arm! Looks more practical than me putting it in a boom pole handle
I was wondering the same thing!

Another awesome set up with the worst environment ever! Can you tell me what your rigging is for the T2C?
When would you use the PT4C vs the PT2C?
Space and amount of wrap needed.

36 degree is wider and used the most on my van.
Making lemonade out of rocks
what were the lenses? 50 and 85 were my guess? And what aperture do you set them to?
You are right on! I had them at f2.8
someone needs to compare the pyro s to the cineview vs dji sdr
That would be great to watch!
Welcome to the 90's
Question. What cards and how many of them do you have for your Sony FX6s?
I have 18x 128gb SD Cards
@@PDMokry Any particular brand?
Do you swap them often, beause with 4k All-I 10bit 4:2:2 128GB is just 1h or you record L-GOP?
