Just sold and delivered my Coupe this week, too. Buyer’s ferry pilot picked it up west of Houston and, 48 hours later, delivered it to the Massachusetts. I owned it six years. Farewell N99725!
This is definitely an interesting airplane! I never heard of it until I stumbled across your channel. Interesting Byrd for sure. Good luck on your flight journey!
My first airplane ride was in Ercoupe N86982. A 415-C. That was 45 years ago when the plane was based in Provo, Utah. I have loved coupes ever since. It had a paint job similar to yours. We called it the flying flag. Last I heard N86982 lives in Wisconsin.
That would be hard. We're looking to sell our Taylorcraft and I'm having a real issue with that. Unfortunately we purchased it before my lessons started based on my CFI's recommendations. Now it's obvious I just don't fit well at 6'1". Looking for a replacement, would you recommend a Ercoupe for a taller student pilot?
Your "RUclips" voice is very clear and very understandable, but it seems like when you talk on the radio it becomes like a robot voice, like more from the throat, which make you harder to understand for other pilots. It's already sometimes hard to understand with the distortion, I would encourage you to use your YT voice!

Sorry to see her go. Waiting to see what you buy next. Take care - Be safe.
Can’t wait to see what the next chapter brings!
Sad to see the Ercoupe go, but looking forward to seeing your videos from your next aircraft.
Been a real fan of these videos and am looking forward to the next step on your journey!
You really got me thinking about doing the same thing. Thanks for the great vids
I think we (subscribers) came to really appreciate the Ercoupe so it’s sad to see it go, BUT I’m stoked for some shopping blogs and IFR action!
I think we are a little sad about it, hopefully the new adventures will make up for it haha
At least you turned the beacon lens 180* 🤣.
After 28 years I’m thinking of parting ways with my Coupe.
Blue skies!!
Excited for you. Keep us informed, please.
6’2”+ and plenty of clearance. In any case, you usually fly Ercoupes top open like an old English sports car.
Wondering how things are going ? New plane ? No videos ?
Videos have been posted
Aw Shaw..... Sad to see her go. How many flight hours have you been able to log in the Coupe over the past 6 months?
Out of the 6 months 4 we’re flyable due to maintenance, weather, etc. i managed to get 300 hours and 225 of that was xc
Are you based at GIF? I’m on the lake next to Kgif looking to buy something to fly again would be nice to link up and fly.

I would not, it’s going to be less room than the Taylor craft.
Fellow coupe owner - wanting to take some videos - Can you pls share what type of mount you recommend for views from the wing tip and horizontal stab?
Gorpro suction mounts
I trained in serval planes & the Cessna 150 was the easter to fly.
I never flown in a ercoupe.
Well, that’s too bad. Another couper gone.
I have my Ercoupe for sale in Augusta Georgia too.
Price? TT? TBO?
And the buyer said…wow..no scratches on the windows !
Ercoupe was cute as a button. Can't wait to see what you get.
That was fast. You just bought it.
aw, RIP ercoupe. Been fun watching you timebuild in it. Any idea how much the ~250 hours cost you?
Around 4k including maintenance
@@risingsun_ that's what I figured. great bargain for timebuilding.
Ercoupe = Fun. All other planes are work.
What did wifey feel about this?
Sad but excited for the next plane. She’s wanting to go faster haha
Bye Bye, Little 'Coupe.
Give us a life update buddy.
New video coming this week ;)
Get a Cessna 150.
