Your hair has grown so much since your second cut I also cut my hair in a pixie cut 2 weeks ago and I already see growth too. I usually add water and more products to the part of my head that has more hair.

I always love a tutorial video from you guys! I still haven't tried any CurlMix products but you guys really be hyping me up to try it lol. LoriAnne's wash n go came out so cute! Although I do gotta say I'm not quite a fan of that lip color on LoriAnne, I feel like it washes out her skin tone. I say that from a place of love, I just didn't think that lip color did my girl justice!

My favorite curl mix is the vanilla berry one i like that scent the best but I’ve gotten into the flaxseed gel from Tree Naturals. Its bomb and the scent is amazing. LA your shine and definition is beautiful and TA your haircut is perfect on you.

My favorite used to be rose until it was discontinued! Now I love the lavender scent.

Got the blueberry kit by accident. I was one of the customers who ordered the Bday kit and got this instead. What a happy accident. This my 1st favorite. I love this and the babassu brown sugar.
Gorgeous hair results ladies! My favorite CurlMix scents are the Watermelon and Lavender. Still have to try the Lemon. I only have the Strawberry Hibiscus (love the scent!) in the CurlMix Fresh products. As it is I still have so much CurlMix for one little head! Sorry I missed out on the Blackberry.🥰

I love the pineapple set - leave-in and gel. my hair really responds well to it. I like the blackberry set too. My favorite so far of the flaxseed sets. I’m sad I didn’t get to try the brown sugar fresh kit.

You look (imo) grown and sexy with this cut ✂️ 😆 Now I can't wait to see what it's going to look like when it grows out. I chopped my hair like yours one time, before it was called a "big chop" and I loved it but when it got to that stage where it was like an afro I hated it, just cuz i couldn't do anything with it but wear a cap and I swear i looked like a feminine boy lol anywho....I'm glad I caught this video. My hair stylist that cut my hair with bangs said to use small hair clips to help clips the curls off the face after I style them. It helps give the bangs lift too. Hope that makes sense.

As usual both your results are bomb! I was trying to exercise some self control and not open my blackberry ones yet but I might use it today! Lol! Do you feel like the split end claim is true? It seems a little suspicious to me to say it "heals" split ends but I'm curious if it helps at least smooth the ends any?
Also TA- I dermaplane too and I never know how much to take by my sideburns lol luckily my hair is so big it usually hides it anyway 😁
Naturally Natalie Well, its always been my experience that split ends dont mend. They have to be cut off. With that said we don’t really have split ends at the moment because we just got haircuts, so our hair is in pretty good shape. Could anyone really tell by just a few uses? ☺️➰➰
@@MADCURLS that is very true, hence why I was suspicious 😄 I guess I was more so wondering if it felt smoother because I feel like that's usually what products that claim to repair or mend split ends tend to do, just help the appearance of the ends. I am definitely in need of a trim so I'll have to see when I use it (I controlled my urges and didn't open mine yet 😄)

Hey mama Lori and Taylor Ann! Both of your curls look healthy and great! TA I took your pic of your original cut to my stylist and chopped my hair and then went back a week later and cut it again! Your current cut and curl pattern is exactly what my hair looks like... but I’m having a problem refreshing... I have to re-wet every morning and so far every product you’ve suggested has worked for my new short hair. I bought as I am nano water but have yet to use it...what do you use to refresh?
Hey! so I haven't really mastered refreshing my hair either. I re-wet my hair in the sink every morning for the most part. Just last week I tried refreshing my hair, I used the As I Am JBCO Water and it worked. Im now trying to refresh my hair at least two days in a row then cowash my hair. Ill clarify and DC on the weekend. -TA

As a DIYer, actually... 😆 lol no, but it's true. In the beginning, I went through sooo many batches of flaxseed gel before I got the perfect consistency and hold.
Also, I don't really have peach fuzz since I'm naturally just not that hairy (I haven't shave my legs in 5 years since the hairy-est they get is peach fuzz level), but I get one fully grown thick hair popping out on my chin every couple months. Soo annoying

how do y'all think Curl Mix gels compare to Ecoslay Orange Marmalade gel? right now I'm stuck on Ecoslay but it doesn't give much shine...
In my opinion the CURLMIX gives more shine for sure but the ECOSLAY has more hold. Personally I wasn't a huge fan of the super strong hold of that gel but now that my hair is cut ill try it again. -TA

Cantu flaxseed cream gel is similar
I love the cantu flaxseed cream gel, almost more than the curlmix. It has more hold for me and the slip is great
@@NaturallyNatalie CurlMix definitely has more hold. I love the flaxseed cream gel too. The slip is great, same consistency and results just needs more hold I usually put wetline or don't shrink on top.
@@healingwithgolden interesting. I guess it depends on which curlmix too but I don't get much hold with curlmix but the cantu gave me days of hold. That just goes to show everyone's hair is different
