- Many youth baseball players face the challenge of transitioning their practice swings to their in-game swings. This can lead to inconsistency in performance and frustration. However, with the right approach and techniques, it is possible to overcome this hurdle. In this video, I will be sharing my personal experiences and insights on how I was able to make the transition from a practice swing to an in-game swing. I will also be discussing the methods I currently use when working with baseball players to help them achieve the same. My aim is to provide you with valuable information that can help you improve your game and increase your confidence at the plate.

I’m a college baseball player right now and I have trouble incorporating my lower half and my front side flying out too early. And thank you for the video on how to translate your swing to the game.
I help coach 11U & my focus is hitting. You're one of my top online hitting gurus. From this lesson I have taken the importance of erasing the difference between cage/BP and game at-bats. The environmental tips are ones I'm definitely going to use, like getting crowd noise & leveraging imagination. And a healthy dose of getting young hitters to focus on the process instead of the results, as you've emphasized before.
This is an amazing comment! Adding it to my wall of great comments.
This is some Golden Nuggets for sure right here! Thanks for sharing this info Jermaine I didn't mention this to you before but this has been an issue at times as well. I will definitely work more at taking the pressure off of the boys.
Thank you
Thank you Shawn!
Coach, I have two sons that are 16 and 14 and you described our issue exactly. Their practice swing is not their game swing. I have coached them for about 8 years, but we are looking for some outside help :) I have video to share and we would greatly appreciate your feedback. Thank you!
Awesome, send it over at officialjermainecurtis@gmail.com
This is a great video Jermaine. Thank you for sharing your experience with your father…love hearing stories like this. I remember playing stick ball with my neighborhood buddies and we used to always pretend we were specific MLB players.
My son is struggling with transferring his weight into the swing, he plays travel ball 9u. I’m trying to get him stop putting all his weight forward when swinging
Great videos!
Thanks for sharing your story. As a father of a 10-year-old Little Leaguer, it hit home. I'm definitely going to use your advice tomorrow before the game.
Awesome, Joe. Hows his swing working this season?
@@JermaineCurtis55, It's starting to come around. He wasn't receptive to doing drills until recently. He has a hitch in his swing and probably is pushing his hands forward before the lower half starts. He does have good hand eye coordination and can hit a little so I'm encouraged.
@@gregh2322 awesome. Would love to see his swing. Go here please and fill out information and then his video --> proscave.com/1on1application
Thanks for listening to my comment! I need to start practicing with a purpose instead of just doing it and visualizing a pitcher when I’m hitting off the tee. 👍🏻
