You know Rusty Lake, it's funny. I have played all of your games before at different times, but never noticed they were telling a story and connected. The story is a little confusing, but I think i'm understanding it. As far as I can tell, Rusty Lake is some sort of limbo where tortured spirits/memories are extracted from dead bodies and placed into the lake. Sort of like the River Styx in Greek mythology. My Crow acts as both Charon/the Boatman and as the one who extracts the troubled spirits in the first place. Mr Owl is still quite mysterious, but he appears to be the master of the ordeal, or Hades. The Young Woman was a troubled soul who suffered from depression and killed herself. Detective Dale seems to have died too, and is having his life flash before his eyes, giving him a chance to correct mistakes he made while he was alive.
+Alex White Can you tell me in which sequence i should play this game to get the full storyline. I started with this "Theatre" part. Initially i didn't know anything about this game, so didn't know what to do. After spending some time i completed it. NOw i want to know the full story.
blog.rustylake.com/tag/timeline/ Here's the official timeline. I would go Arles, Seasons, Harvey's Box, The Lake, Case 23, The Mill, and then Theater. Rusty Lake Hotel is also very good, its a pay for title on Steam that is a prequel to all of them.
This is an interesting theory. I don't think the woman killed herself though, since we were shown someone (presumably Bob) attacking/stabbing her in Seasons.

Can someone help me understand the light bulb part. Like is what he's doing with his fingers supposed to help you know or do you just fool around with it until you get the pattern? Because I don't want to memorize what they're doing in the video 😅
Hi, i just played the game and in the part where the man is sitting in the toilet, and you tap him, while hes converting into the black figure, in the mirror it appears a1 b7 c1, i came here to check if it appeared to anyone else but i cant find nothing, does someone knows what are those three numbers and letters? Edit: i found what theyre for, its for the mugshot achievement in case 23, chapter 2
The crow will first point. The finger he holds up will tell what lightbulb to press. 1 finger means the first lightbulb, 2 fingers means the second, etc. In the next part, he will tap his stick. The number of taps means what lightbulb you click. 2 taps means the second lightbulb, three taps means the third, etc. In the final part, follow the eye of the crow on his head. It will look at what bulb to press.
So its like this: Once, there a woman that's died because him(the drunk guy), the police immediately investigate. He think this is more than just murder. He found some pictures and trying to solve them. He captured the murderer(the drunk guy),but he escaped. The police was trying to find him, got knock out by someone wearing owl mask. While that happening, The man (with a crow mask) was trying to use a machine to that dead woman (brought by the owl), trying to change her memories. The police was sent to a cabin and hallucinating. In his mind , he found an escalator(or elevator whatever) and go down to the memories in a cube, in a lake.
I think you've got the timeline right. It is hard to get straight since everything in the story is presented out of order. My question is, why does Bob's soul become corrupted? Presumably, he went to the same lake as the murder victim to... try to get her back I guess? And then something went wrong...? How did his memories end up getting extracted and belonging to the lake? The way the guy says it in Theater is almost like extracting memories is just some normal thing they do at this lake or something, so why was his soul corrupted. Or did his soul become corrupted even before he reached the lake??

OMG I LOVE THESE GAMES SO UNDERRATED THIS SHOULD BE MORE POPULAR WTH
we need a new cube escape!!
I second this 😂
This game is absolutely beautiful.
This was the best one put of the whole rusty lake games
After the BAD EGG part, the hand inside the piano gave me a sheet music. I tried to play it on my cellphone but the note E is not playable, it doesn’t reach it because it is right on the edge of the screen. Did anybody manage to play that part and know what happens?

+Rusty Lake Keep up this series it's awesome! Can't wait for the next one!
I love your games and never have enough :)
To get the code for the door in the brain of guy at the bar:
First collect the white cubes (memories) in his brain, then use them on the frames.
Lineup the frames with the corresponding are/picture.
Once they outline themselves in white/get set in place tap the frames and wipe the area to reveal the symbol. On the hand of the lady tap and she'll reveal another number and the symbol is on her wrist(just needs to be wiped)
I usually only need the walkthroughs for one part of the puzzle but I like watching them for the audio because my games don't have the voices and such :(
Same me too.. I hate jumpscare.. I love to join my game in silence..lol
this one may be the favorite one so far after arles !! as a van gogh fan, i enjoyed arles the most but i really loved the lake and case 23. these escape series are just so amazing, i love rusty lake for that !! sm love, thanks for being here

Can someone help me understand the light bulb part. Like is what he's doing with his fingers supposed to help you know or do you just fool around with it until you get the pattern? Because I don't want to memorize what they're doing in the video 😅
I'm confused when the bartender says "looks like he wants another drink" But I can't give him the same drink and the other recipe needs blood 👁👄👁
Watch the walkthrough
Thank you very much for making this incredible channel exist Rusty
Hi, i just played the game and in the part where the man is sitting in the toilet, and you tap him, while hes converting into the black figure, in the mirror it appears a1 b7 c1, i came here to check if it appeared to anyone else but i cant find nothing, does someone knows what are those three numbers and letters?
Edit: i found what theyre for, its for the mugshot achievement in case 23, chapter 2
Ohhhh, so that's what the cod is for (☉。☉)!
I just realized... you give Bob a screwdriver and a screwdriver comes out of his mouth. Completely went over my head, lol.
i dont understand the second part of the crowman... Help pleeaaaseeee!!! Dx
Pablo Paz follow the eye of the crow

Don't get me wrong, this is my theory
I think you've got the timeline right. It is hard to get straight since everything in the story is presented out of order. My question is, why does Bob's soul become corrupted? Presumably, he went to the same lake as the murder victim to... try to get her back I guess? And then something went wrong...? How did his memories end up getting extracted and belonging to the lake? The way the guy says it in Theater is almost like extracting memories is just some normal thing they do at this lake or something, so why was his soul corrupted. Or did his soul become corrupted even before he reached the lake??
10:31 cube escape:seasons dead women and the cube escape:seasons music
13:17 I can’t get the woman to raise her hand, I got all four cubes. Anyone can tell what I’m doing wrong?
How did you know the order of the colors at the final stage?
Esteban Hernández you have to look at the pictures that are hanging on the wall and follow the order that's in the circle that's on the other wall.
Cool
Hi! I am Jorges girlfriend, im from Mexico too, Jorge was the firt one to know that the game was streaming today :) it is a wonderful thing that you guys make these huge video games, thank you very much

Is a little creepy, it makes you think, also the atmosphere is very good and the music, I love it 💕

+Rusty Lake hi guys, can you tell me why I see black background on my Asus Zenfone 5?
+MaiTeN o meu também está assim
whats with mr crow
no matter how much I think I'm able to think this through.. this is too creepy I can't do it without walkthrough..
Before I went into the elevator I placed the empty cocktail glass at the bar and made a gin tonic for the poor bartender. After all a man shot himself on the counter, laid there for a while and somehow his corpse went into the bathroom to become a corrupted soul 🤷🏼♀️
All those drinks gave him a stomachache 😔
finished playing just now ^_^ itss awsome as always!
The sliding game annoys me. I don’t get why it keeps reloading on me. Am I supposed to do it within a certain amount of moves??
Playing this again a year later and I’m even following this person’s order and STILL having a reload issue!
I don’t wanna read through the comments too much because I haven’t played the entire game yet but I’m really curious how the part with the colorful tiles around 1:57 works. I get that I have to move that blue/green/yellow tile to a designated spot but why does it randomly renew sometimes? What do I have to avoid to prevent that from happening?
My worm was dropped into the plant pot and it never came back
Check the pan again, you should get another one
lmao I fed it to the bird
@@lo7612 Same XD
@@lo7612 Yeah, it just ate it, I had to reset the game😂
0:53 is that man sitting there is on The White Door(Rusty Lake)?
what does mr. crow mean by follow my lead??? where are the hints???
a girl has no name fingers, foot tapping or baton tapping and the crow's eye
This was a very fun and entertaining one, only got confused on the cubes part because I thought there is a 5th white cube, but yeah, overall, I managed to complete it smoothly afterwards. I also thought that the symbols might have something to do with it, but still thought that there might be a fifth white cube so yeah. Good game though, solid 10/10 as always.
