Great episode getting to know more about our much loved crew members. Great seeing everyone so chilled. I am very intrigued about Link's cabbage patch doll...hope to learn more!
My older son had a baby doll when he was 2 1/2. We gave it to him when I was pregnant with his little brother. When I'd breastfeed my younger son, he'd make believe breastfeed his baby doll. It was so sweet!
Stevie being the kind of person who gets excited about an encyclopedia makes me like her even more. As a kid my favorite thing was sitting down with my grandpa and picking a random page from an encyclopedia and learning about some random thing.
I had, and still have a My Twin doll. I loved her so much. I remember I had to take pictures of my face from the front and sides (except they didn’t have curly hair for some stupid reason). We even had matching outfits lol. Now she kinda creeps me out, but I can’t throw her away
I got "lucky" with mine... Spent a couple weeks in the hospital and a lady from church took pity on me. Six year old me thought it was totally worth it!
Feel free to bring up William Has a Doll from Free to Be You and Me if it's relevant, and it probably is. No wonder Link was really comfortable with starting a family so young and doing it so well.
i think it's great that Link played with dolls as a kid. more boys should play with dolls. it helps to build empathy, responsibility, and prepares them to be good fathers someday (if they ever want to be).
I played with dolls also. But they were called "action figures" which made it okay right? I had GI Joe, Teenage mutant ninja turtles, He Man, and I loved my Stretch Armstrong doll. Oh and I didn't have one. But who remembers those huge "My buddy and Kid sister" dolls. I can still hear the commercial in my head.
There are countless moments throughout GMM and GMMore where I gain more respect for Rhett and Link's friendship. And I think when Link was talking about his cabbage patch doll was one of those moments. They've said at one point that they've never betrayed each others' trust. I think most friends, particularly guy friends would laugh or tease the other for owning a doll, but Rhett was just supportive and didn't try to make Link feel small. I don't know, it's the small moments where true friendship shines and time after time Rhett and Link prove their unwavering friendship for each other and it's truly breathtaking.
Cory, wait, when was her debut? The costumes episode was the first time I saw her. No clue how I missed it, but I usually know the crew, so it surprised me to see a random new person.
I love the female crew members. Stevie joyfully reading an encyclopedia and Emily putting Felicity and Beast in charge of all her other toys are things I relate to so much.
My mom has a homemade, anatomically correct cabbage patch doll too. I think it has a plastic head though. I think her grandma made it but I'm not entirely sure. (Maybe it's a North Carolina thing ✌)
I really love how the Mythical crew has become such an integral part of the show as we see it. Rhett and Link are wonderful on their own, but the members of the crew really bring such personality to the atmosphere.
The truthfulness of link in this episode is just awesome. I love all of you at gmm and my days at home are awesome because of you all or as we would say it in NC (y'all)
I TOTALLY feel Ellie on stressing out over my toys all getting equal attention, and caring for them equally for about a week before being completely burnt out.
God, you guys really got a gem of a writer when you found Jordan. He's so hilarious. If he doesn't end up going into stand up comedy within the next ten years the world will have taken a big loss. I can see huge potential for him as a writer, but I feel like if he were to work on becoming a stand up, he could be one of the greats one day.
About Link's doll. Early 80's my grandma made me 4 original Xavier Roberts dolls. They were the first Cabbage Patches & his original design, they had cloth heads AND they were anatomically correct. So they were legit dolls.
Oh man, American Girl Dolls were my childhood! I had Kirsten, the Swedish pioneer. I always wanted those theatrical play kits but DID have the computer game where you could create and put on plays on your Windows 95.
Link! I grew up in western North Carolina and in the early 80s all the old ladies made those cloth baby dolls that were anatomically correct. My brother had a boy baby made by my Aunt Edith, who wasn’t really my aunt😝!
I, too, had a handmade Cabbage Patch doll. My Aunt made it for me. Can’t remember how much I played with it because I was scared of dolls. My sister had a doll named Tammy that I was terrified of and my other sister had a talking dummy named Danny. Just the sight of his little red plaid jacket was enough to have me running away in fear!
It is not often that I experience comments that make me snork coffee out of my nose but Jordan- your sense of humor kills me! (and causes numerous coffee stains) Awesome guy!
pretty sure he's implying that he didn't watch the video and commented based on assumptions made by someone else in the video you're looking into it way too far it's probably a play on words and he's talking about actual american girls instead of the dolls but at no point is that made clear by the video, or this guy's comment; and there's also no evidence that his statement is even true.
I had the Felicity play too (even though I owned Kirsten and Kit, not Felicity) but I never orchestrated the play. Props to Emily for pulling it off in her neighborhood!
I love GMMore!!!! It feels so genuine. Don’t get me wrong, love the main channel. But this just feels so sincere and relaxed. Like a bunch of college students just hanging out
I was born in 85 and around that time my favorite "toy" was the Commodore 64 which was very quickly and easily replaced by the NES. So, I'd have to say the NES was my favorite childhood "toy". I can't really remember any of the name brand toys I played with lol. If it went to more traditional toys than I'd have to say a collection of Marvel action figures
For those not born in the "Cabbage Patch" Era, those where some VERY expensive dolls. ( Some of the first ones to sport a $100 price tag). And they were in huge demand. Thats probably why Links parents chose to have one made instead of the store bought ones. Not to mention his was definitely one of a kind!!!
My younger brother had a R.O.B., he was obsessed with playing video games, he had every game console known to man! I always preferred a good book growing up…
I remember the big thing about Cabbage Patch Kids was that it had a little cloth belly (belly) button sewn in. If someone got one, everybody would be asking, "Can I see the belly button?"
I want more of this whether it becomes its own thing or on let's talk about that but just hearing the crew talk and just chill about there pasts or whatever is amazing plz do more of this
Making Cabbage Patch dolls was a common thing in the 80s. Lots of people did it when they were at the height of their popularity. I don't remember the anatomical correctness being a thing, though.
This episode of GMMore was great like they usually are, except in my opinion, I feel that this episode was better then most because it made me feel as if I was watching a episode of LTAT due to the interaction of everyone. I would love to see Good Mythical More geared more toward the way that this episode went. In any case I love the show, the after show, the skits, the original music, the hosts, and the crew. In other words I very much enjoy the show and everything about it.
I played with dolls as a kid too... but my siblings and I cut their hair off, drowned them in water, gave them spiked up hair, and dropped them from the top of a bunk bed... 😂😂😂

One of my sisters has the felicity American Girl Doll also and we did the felicity play for Christmas one year! That made me so excited to hear that!!! ❤️❤️❤️
I love Emly's personality. The way she speaks is just a delight to listen to.
10/10 Would take picnicking.
With books and action figures
I think the Mythical Crew guessing games could be my favourite GMMore format! ☺️❤️
Same! I like guessing along with them 😊
are there any other ones?

I don't know I will think it got maybe a little wierd at some points.

Jordan is so amusing, no wonder he could play a character like Randy
I thought that's Randy playing Jordan, are telling me cotton candy randy is not real ?????

I am so glad that Jordan is on more episodes. I just love his off the cuff jokes
Me too. Hes a really funny guy, probably my fave addition to the crew.
I don't really like his sense of humour from much of the time, but it's nice to have another interesting crew member involved.

Are we not gonna talk about the fact that Rhett went and found an American Girl store just to get Lily something? So sweet! ❤️
Let's talk about that.
well he went when he was on vacation with link
Yea he went with links family.... He didn't buy it lmao
hes a dad...thats what dads do!
This is a whole other level for Good Mythical More, why you ask?
The crew is so much fun... 😶👏
I think that Link's cabbage patch kid should've been in today's main episode 😂
as a homemade doll it wouldn't have fit the category anyway.
If you had an American girl doll, you were a rich kid 😂. I wanted one of those so bad as a little girl, especially the "looks like you" doll.
Mrs. G. i always wanted one so bad i asked for a kirsten doll every christmas and i cried when she was discontinued when i was 10 :(
My first American Girl doll was a hand-me-down that just happened to look like me lol 😄 I felt so lucky!
Yeah, I always wanted one but they were too expensive...

Next Ear Biscuits should really just focus on Link's doll, the people need answers!
I want to know so much more about Links childhood now!
Yeah I would love to hear an episode about their toys and odd things they played as kids.

The hill I will die on is that Jordan needs more solo time away from Randy because he is SO funny when not being a character.
Loved this GMMore
There probably wasn't much to talk about. He likes tennis, and he likes video games. Pretty simple.
