I've been to a lot of metal shows from all the genres, and this song was one of the heaviest ones I've ever experienced live! And from a genre that isn't considered heavy at all, within metal. And there wasn't even a pit. It was definitely pit-worthy!
If anyone could tell me what those 2 booming/rumbling intro notes on guitar and bass are, that'd be awesome. It's repeated throughout, and I think I can get the rest of the song, but without thinking it's some sort of whammy/downshift midi effect, I can't figure out what they are doing!
they call it the Z note. the lowest string is tuned as low as it can go and still make some sort of note. I think KMac2021 invented this independently but Torche is the first band I know of to do it.
Torche may be one of the most undervalued bands in rock music. They crush.
They should have played after In Flames on the Meshuggah tour they were so fuckin heavy!! All smiles too! Awesome energy!
Wow. One of the best combinations of bass, guitar and drums delivering a package of sound. Great for an action movie.
Agh, I love Torche. Drummer is a beast
I HEART RICK
Total caveman drummer, and I mean that in the best way possible.
@@Shoeg4zer you mean the beast way possible

They've co-opted the Floor Bomb string
This has to be the fattest/heaviest riff ever
Holy fuck
Steve should smile from the hundred dollar bills.
I pronounce it "Torch-y"
