- In this episode, we are passing the long and arduous journey from Singapore to Hatyai via the NSHW in Malaysia all in 1 day.
Follow me on my 1 month long journey from Singapore all the way to Thailand to explore the beautiful area of Northern Thailand (MaehongSon, ChiangRai, Pai, ChiangMai etc) during the cold season. We will be exploring hidden places in Thailand outside of your typical touristy areas, and also capturing interactions with the locals!

Not telling parents you ride is big SEA energy. Did the same before I had my license finished. 🇹🇭 Mom’s reaction was priceless; “Uh, motorcycles are dangerous. What bike have you bought then? Yamaha? I had a Vespa GTS as I had style. You are a simple man like your uncle.”

I ride solo every month to IPOH on my Tracer 900 GT and that's already tiring. You went to Thailand in a day...hats off to you bro.
When i came back i stopped by Ipoh 1 night. Going there in a day only because I didnt know how tiring it would be 😂

6hr from Sg To Thailand boarder is fast. Tat means average 160km/h. Some more every 100+km need pump petrol.

I went up in end October 2023, solo too. All the way to Chiang Mai. Took 5 days to go up to CMai. I am a caveman , I don't ride at night. Too dangerous. Rode 4 day from Pai/MHS area. Great fun. Took 5 days to come home to SG. Thanks for sharing!!

Yeah that is a long way on a naked bike man haha. Windshield makes a big difference to how tired the body gets.
Since 2002 all my trips Thailand & beyon r solo except on 2 occasions. Prefer to ride alone, I get to stop whenever I want, eat at any venue I prefer & stay in any location I wish. Singapore to Hat Yai on the 1st day is pretty standard for most SG riders, don't really enjoy highway riding on NSH.

Good vdo bro. Can I ask how u get the motorycle insurance covered in Thailand? (Not the Thai 3rd party), cos most insurers in Singapore cover till West Malaysia, from 50/80 km border of Thai/Malaysia
I got all my insurance and paperworks done at the shops right before the msia thai custom haha

bike setup nothing much, only one duffel bag on pillion seat. then a top box. As for what I pack maybe I will do a video on it for next trip. Hard to type hahah

Hello, preparation wise just the physical logcard. All the other paperworks the insurance place settle for you and tell you what to do.

hi, along the way, if feel sleepy, where do we nap?
hmm if is the sleepiness due to hot weather, i stop every 1hr for petrol and freshen up there. If the fatigue due to riding long hours, recommend just stop at a town, chill for the night and continue next day haha. Shouldnt rush for a road trip. For me, cause i didnt try before so didnt know how long it takes. When I came back, i took a stop at Ipoh.

Bro, why no gloves ? It’s a crucial part of safety gear. If you fall, your natural instinct is to put out your palm to protect yourself. With gloves, it will save you a potential hand surgery
