Gets repetitive quick tbh, they would need many new mechanics/weapons for it to work in a sequel.

Sekiro 2, the best gameplay combat system up till this day.
I don't think From Software will make an Elden Ring 2 at all. It's not what transpires from Miyazaki's interviews, it's not how Miyazaki works (ds2 and ds3 were not his choice, he wasn't CEO back then). I think it will not happen and instead there will be new IPs.
Miyazaki doesn't do sequels.

@@jkbobful if he wasn't forced to, he wouldn't have done it. The themes of that game reflect his feelings toward making it I think.
Elden Ring 2 Requests
- Questlog and optional map markers
- Story telling through cutscenes and not item descriptions
- Shorter game (Elden Ring was too long and the final areas dragged)
- More NPCs and life in the world.
- Better upgrade system for Weapons.
You just described a game not made by FS.
You just described every other RPG out there, Fromsoftware doesn't do this.
Neither, I hope Fromsoft takes a break from Souls for a while because it's becoming the new Assassin's Creed in terms of repetitiveness.
