- First and foremost, the artwork of Giratina was created by a DeviantART user named Hyshirey! His artwork inspired me to compose this piece, so head over to his DA gallery, and check out his artwork! He has a lot of great stuff!

So, this one took pretty long... a lot longer than the Arceus one, in fact. The reason being is because I had a lot of ideas for this piece, but didn't really know how I was going to develop them throughout the piece. So, the planning took some time, but once I sat down and worked on it, the piece just came very quickly, which is a good thing, haha.
Also, for this piece, I experimented A LOT with sound design. So, you may hear a lot of things throughout this piece that I wouldn't normally do, but I'm happy with this one, and definitely will be doing more stuff related to it (not exact, though).
I also continued working with Black Octopus' Leviathan samples. They are just soooo damn good, man, haha. I'd definitely recommend checking them out.

my idea was an ability called distorted world where dragon and ghost aren't weak to eachother and ghost isn't weak to dark, that would give primal giratina way less weaknessess

Then its anger and sorrow reacts to the distortion world, fusing Giratina, its sorrow and anger, AND THE DISTORTION WORLD together, turning it into primal Giratina, in other words, it is the distortion world itself

Name: Giratina (Ascendant Forme)
Description: this strange form was said to belong to the Renegade Pokémon before it was Judged by God, stripped of it’s place in the Hall of Origins, and cast into oblivion. As such, it cannot be perceived by mortal eyes in its full form and is forced to hide most of its body within a portal to protect the sanity of whatever unfortunate trainer is currently gazing upon, what is surely, their doom. If someone were to see it in all its unholy glory, it’s said that their soul would be obliterated.
Ability: Demonic Aura; can only be harmed by special attacks.

Giratina as portrayed by this song to my ears: An uncontrollable force, acting against its own will, constraining itself for the sake of the world, pleading for your help, all the while trying to kill you. Giratina saved the world in Platinum, but now it needs saving. It can save the world again, if you but save it.
And I'm super late on this, but:
Giratina: Incomprehensible Forme
Pokedex Entry: This impossibly large Pokemon is all the energies of the Distortion World incarnate. So large is the form that the entire Distortion World is its body. Being attacked and ingested leads to permanent residence in the Distortion World, usually followed by a mercifully quick death at Giratina's feet, rather than death by starvation or dehyration. The victim's energies are then added the the Distortion World's own, making defeating it even closer to impossible to defeat.
It gains access to Shadow Force+, a move that ignores stat boosts, acts as if defense were halved on the target, ignores Protect and similar moves, and deals triple damage to targets who switch in and replace the original target, even if the new target were to have immunity to Ghost type. One hit knock-outs all Pokemon with weakness to Giratina's types. Also provides immunity to Payback and moves with similar 'after you' effects.
With its new Realm Of Shadows ability, Pokemon defeated by this Pokemon are, upon revival and re-entry into battle, have until the end of the battle, a -6 to all stat multipliers such as evasion, and cannot use stat boosting or healing moves.
It has stats that are impossible to measure. Speedrunners and nuzlocke players, beware.

This Pokemon is near impossible to defeat and completely uncatchable. The player has no access to this form by any means. This form is only battlable once, and it gives all IVs/EVs the max possible and 100 levels worth of experience upon defeat to all Pokemon that survive the battle.
However, if you value your life, you will avoid battling this at all costs. Being defeated in battle by this Pokemon results in Game Over, one that can only be remedied by COMPLETELY DELETING ALL DATA ON YOUR SAVE FILE!!!

The answer is yes.
EDIT: Also Gravity+, which makes all Pokemon without Flying type or Levitate paralyzed and those with said advantages have half their speed stat, along with the effects of Realm of Shadows ability. Considering that -6 stat multiplier is taking the stat down to a quarter of their original total, this means that the affected Pokemon has a total of ONE-EIGHTH of their speed stat as is normal! And Giratina, at least in this form, has access to Electro Ball, which as far as I know, does more damage depending on how much faster the user is compared to the target, so this Giratina can deal a heck of a lot of damage. This is a battle that is not to be taken lightly.
And for a less insane version of this, I do suppose the Primal Arceus theme made by Ludwig van Larx has my comment about some Pokedex entries of the four Creation Creatures. Find that to see it.
Dang, your music is just good. Atmospheric, epic, powerful... This will also go on my list of music I want longer versions of to put in D&D campaigns!

This video is a perfect example just for me to recall how fast times progressing. I still remember seeing this for the first time back when it came out, and that was over 7 years ago.. absolutely insane. Upon listening to this again for the first time in a very long time, it's still a wonderful piece, and I enjoy it equally, if not more than I did as a young teenager.

I was about to say, this has a creepy, haunting vibe to it.
I will admit, this is good... But... I don't know. Something about it seems slightly off. I mean, at first, it's like "Oh, shiet, this is boss music!"... Then, at the second half, it starts to sound more like something you'd hear BEFORE the fight even started.
Then again, that's just my opinion. Either way, it still sounds fantastic!
Supapretzel Jenkins Well, I'm a Classically trained musician and composer. It's very common to have hugely contrasting sections like this in a piece of music. I could have maybe handled it differently, but for me, I look forward to hearing contrasting sections I pieces of music. I do see what you're saying, though. The energy does just drop off at that point.
Of course! As someone who isn't, I wouldn't rightly know how to handle/"understand" (if that makes any modicum of sense) classical music and it's drops or changes...

Upon entering the distortion world, you get a strange feeling that something isn't right... This feeling merely increases as you go deeper in this dimension, everything warps and becomes more nonsensical. Then, a portal appears in front of you. Something about this feels like a trap to you. Braving your instincts telling you to run, you go into the portal. Then, you see the source of all this chaos. Primal Giratina, a being banished due to its destructive nature. Now forced to rely on primitive instincts, it stares you and your team down. Analyzing its every weakness... You're struck with fear, but there is no time for fear.

The pokedex is a lying piece of crap, giratina's power is more akin to gravity rather than antimatter, and gravity is literally distorted space and time.
Rei Novae antimatter is a theoritical substance which could have inversed gravity (where mass repels mass) which explains a lot of the distortion world. I'm not sure that's what theyre going for but they want his presence to be more destructive and omninuous which gravity isn't because its too logical.
Sugimori even stated that Giratina is the embodiment of antimatter.
, if Giratina say, originally had a massive gravitational pull around it there would be a black hole... Not destructive enough you say? Black holes literally "eat" everything that comes near them

Arceus was said to shape the universe with its one-thousand arms. I hope we'll see an all powerful form of Arceus in the Diamond and Pearl remakes. Insane stats, and insane design.

Final Storm - Giratina sends out a stream of anti-matter to the Pokemon which creates a path of annihilation and destruction. (has a 50% chance to miss the Pokemon, 10% chance for an OHK, 40% chance for a glacing blow which halves the HP)
Vile Violence - Giratina uses its dark matter tentacles as spears and swords to wound the oppenent heavily (has a 50% chance to miss the Pokemon, 10% chance for an OHK, 40% chance for a facile hit which halves the HP)
Pokedex: In pure dismay after it found out the truth behind its banishment, its true power and its real creator, Giratina uses its rage and gained the strength of its creator to destroy Arceus. It's able to destroy universes and dimensions by the use of dark- and anti-matter.

Ability: Dark wall - Tendrils of dark matter are literally forming a wall to divert the attacks of its opponent to the half of their strenght.
Attack: Requiem - Giratina drags the opponents Pokemon into an unreachable void and takes away the will of aggression so that Pokemon won't attack again in that battle.
Pokedex: Freed from the crime, the banishment which it has suffered, and with the complete understanding that hatred shouldn't pass, Giratina took the shape of its creator in order to guarantee peace and to ensure balanced universes and dimensions.
I know that they are unbalanced (especially Unchained Giratina), but they are gods and when a Rayquayquay get an OP-mega-evolution I think the gods of reality and existence should also get an overpowered form. (Legendary Pokemon shouldn't anyway be used in tournaments)

Nightmare sorcerer: sleeps the other pokemons on the battlefield and damages them each turn as long as they're sleeping

+Nick the Sick Tick The nightmare damage would be the same but it's not necessary to use dark void or any sleeping move since the ability makes the Pokémons sleep when Mega/Primal Darkrai enters the battlefield (or mega evolves)

Technically all the legends (Cept maybe Arceus and definitely Mewtwo and Genesect) are Ultra Beasts according to Ultra Sun and Moon. Or maybe I misinterprited going through ultra wormholes to find them.

Ignores effects of stat changes, immunities, protection moves, and abilities. The last move the opponent used loses all PP and it's item is removed (Including Z-stones and Mega-stones). The opponent falls asleep. The user is paralyzed and must recharge for 1 turn.

Basically, this turns Giratina into a wall melter. With his signature move, he can decimate most walls as long as he can land a hit. And at the same time, punishes attackers by lowering their speed. Overall, this makes Primal Giratina a great asset on any UBER's team, allowing him to melt strong opponents like Primal Groundon, Primal Kyogre, or even Arceus. Primal Giratina is also an amazing asset to take down very strong walls like Regice.
Even the Creation Gods fear Giratina.

I think i listened to this a long time ago but I don't remember, i love this so much that im pretty addictied to it, also I kinda realized that if a fan made pokemon game was made with this theme when battling your rival it would match but I would add some sadness to it and maybe slowed down

I'm just revisiting old videos I used to watch, and I can give a full review on this:
While it on the more simplistic side, it fits perfectly with the other Pokemon battle themes. Also, the melody is catchy, yet intimidating. And the background sound effects fit perfectly. (I heard jason and an evil laugh) Overall, it is a masterpiece and should be treated as such.
This sounds like: Devil May Cry, Kingdom Hearts and Legend of Kay
And some sonic the hedgehog as well with how energetic and chaotic it sounds.

not to be a killjoy, but wouldn't its "primal" form basically just be its "Origin Forme"? then again, I suppose the origin forme is merely just the form it took when Arceus banished it to the other dimension, but still... "origin"... "primal"... similar meanings.

Courtney Harrington it's Origin form is how it looks in the Gravity of the Distortion World since physics is fucked up there when it enters our world the gravity makes it become its Altered Form

I can imagine the events of Pokemon platinum going normally up until Giratina's reveal, Cyrus fights Giratina and succeeds. but giratina is enraged and steals the powers of both Dialga and Palkia to revert to the chaotic state that he was sealed for. Now being able to control time, space and antimatter Giratina flies off for revenge against Arceus and destroy life in the process. The fight against him is in vain so you try to get to Arceus and revert it to it's primal state as well before Giratina slowly but surely warps toward the creation Pokemon itself. This is a good theme and if i made a gen 4 fan game i'd consider using it with permission for sure.

Description: Primal Giratina, or mostly know as, The Original Cosmic Horror, an unpredictable event occured in the moment the Universe was created making it part of it as it's shadow. An error even Arceus couldn't undo, so part of its power was sealed creating a new dimension knows as Distortion World. It is theorized that all Distortion World is Giratina's body in shambles but its Primal form is all of this so he needs to use portal to no destroy current universe, or in fact, it is forced to do so because of Arceus dominating power in the original universe. Eventually, it will emerge engulfing all existence at it's full power.
