In this video I'll be showing you how to reduce/lower your cpu/processor temperature on windows 10 or 11. This is the fastest way to do it however it can impact your game performance so choose a number between 90-100 and test it with the games you play. This can be a great fix if your cpu temperatures are high or overheating. Works with Ryzen and Intel.
1. Go to search and type in "edit power plan"
2. Click on "change advanced power settings"
3. Click on "processor power management"
4. Click on "Maximum processor state"
5. Change the number to anywhere between 90 - 100 and test your game performance.
This is the fastest and easiest way to reduce/lower your cpu/processor temperature.

works for me, dropped 15º celsius, but you need to make min. on 90% too, otherwise it will be 100%
My minimum right now is like both 5% plugged and not plugged and i changed the maximum to both 95%, should i also put the minimum to 90%

Most simple way and it works bro, I've just changed my cpu pasta and cleaned it, but still stuck in 75⁰-92⁰C (I don't even open anything except task manager🤦🏻♂️),,, But after I did it, it cooling down far to 53⁰👌🏻👏🏻

I have another solution, but you might find it annoying without headphones. You can lower the CPU temperature by around 20 degrees if you play with max fan speed.

@@Speedy_Tutorials hey do you have a way to disable windows update permanently? I have tried all ways on internet but nothing disables it permanently including editing registries. Try to make a video on that if you have a way.

i wonder what percentage did you put for the minimum processor state?
I got 3 questions:
1: Does it make your ping lower for games?
2:Which one is the one best to use? which percentage?
3: Do i have to restart my pc to see if the temperator changed? or should it change right after i setted the percentage?
1. It doesn't lower your ping. 2. You have to experiment yourself and see which one is the best for you. 3. You don't need to restart your PC

I've done it but now even if I change the value it doesn't make any difference. For instance even if i creat a a new power plan and reduce the value to 90 it doesn't do anything. I even tried reducing it to 80s but nothing

hi! thanks for video ! i got a question, i got lenovo loq i7-13620H with 4060 , pc is a new like 3 days . originally on warzone 3 was running hitting max temp 97 degrees!!!!! i changed option like on video and i set 5% min and 95% max, and i switched off option for boost processor . Now is hitting max 75 on warzone . Much better, u think this temp now is good or i should go and look for some more option to down the temp a little bit more ? The fans of the Graphic are very noise but not like first days when they are was hitting 97 degrees.
75 degrees is a normal temperature, the setting is good, but my advice is that if your new laptop reaches a high temperature, you have to contact the shop you bought it or go to the nearest service center

its very useful but bare in mind if you dont have the best pc and like to play high demanding games like MW3 you will lose fps and it will makes your game very bad. But anything like valorant or overwatch should work fine
Should we also make the minimum to 90% ?
if u put it any lower than 90 it just makes your pc slow and lag. just change it to 95% or above and your pc should run fast and you will have cooler cpu and gpu

Hope it works. I feel the laptop cooling down a bit, waiting to see how long this last or if You helped me. I have 4gb ram and this laptop ever gets hot and I have made like corks stands Underneath it and looks like it doesn't care so I don't know atp.

@@zeenxdownz I did check my hardware and found out that the thermal paste needs to be replaced. Maybe that will solve this issue.

The CPU workload doesn't change, this was effective on Windows 10 but not on 11. Is there a command line or regedit for this?

It kinda work for me to 41 to 42 down to 39 to 40 in idle temps
If you had 41 you didn't need toblow it down man, 40 is already COLD. my cpu runs at 70/90.
Bring it at 100% if it was 42 so you gain some performance.
please crank it up to 100%!! 42 is extremely cold for a cpu running at max performance, EXTREMELY cold. Normal temperatures are 70-80, and anything over 90 is dangerous
uh on my laptop it says on battery and plugged in both 100% idk how to get the setting

Yo guys have a 7800x3d and a 4070ti but i hit average 65 75 while gaming and 60 65 while watching youtube without any change , do i need to change this value or my temps are actually normal ?

In that case its most likely your cooler or your case hasn't got adequate airflow. You might need to change your cpu cooler, what is your cooler and what cpu do you have?

No bro, go to nvidia control panel if you have nvidia and set global settings to integrated graphic and set only your games that are heavy at high end, do the same in windows settings in the graphic session by setting only those games at "high performance" and the rest as it was by default.
By doing that every software exept your games will run slower creating less heat.

If you have a gpu it's not a big deal in most games. I did it and now have a few less fps but my game is finally SMOOTH and those lower fps are better then how they were before.

@@draganov7541 In my experience, it reduced like 5-10 fps, nothing too crazy. So less demanding games, like risk of rain 2 or shin megami tensei V, it still ran at 144fps no issue. It may be noticeable in the most demanding games, though.
