I´m a fan of this band since the begining, back in ´97. Last year, 20 years later, i finally got the chance of seeing them live for the first time, Vagos Metal Fest. It was epic.
Now, you must react to another awesome power metal band, Gamma Ray.

Hmmerfall is one of THE biggest influenses on metal. They've been at it for ages, and they are still just as amazing NOW as they were when they started. I grew up with them blasting from my stereo xD
Hammerfall is my favourite power metal band. I have been listening to the since the late 90s and they never fail to disappoint
Hammerfall and In Flames, the two bands who got me in to metalmusic so i love them for that although i don't listen much to them anymore (old In Flames being the exception). And i love that u cover Hammerfall because the singer is from my hometown and is supporting our local hockeyteam, i've talked to him and told him he "was my first" ;) he is a really nice guy!
BTW, u should react to In Flames.... PLEASE! Only for the weak live or anything from them up untill 2008
Hammerfall was actually one of the first metal bands I ever got into. I remember playing the online game Runescape and meanwhile listening to all of the songs by Hammerfall haha. I do also remember me and my best friend learning all of the lyrics to the song "Hearts on Fire" haha! I was thinking that there might be time for some more powermetal from Sweden such as Hammerfall soon :) Was thinking either "Hearts on fire", "Last man standing" or "Renegade" :)

Turmion kätilöt is truly amazing industrial metal band from finland. Great video btw! Propably my favorite song from HammerFall
I've been a HammerFall fan since 04' and they never disappoint. I recommend "Traiblazers" from their Crimson Thunder album
Hamnerfall was one of the First metalbands I ever listened to 😁 They are really good! You should definitely check out “Hearts on fire” if you are gonna do more Hammerfall 😊 Looking forward for Insanity’s Crescendo - Dark Tranquillity 😁
Solid Hammerfall tune , one of my first forays into power metal.... if you do any more Hammerfall , i have to suggest Glory to the Brave. simply amazing emotional ballad.
If you like Any Means Necessary for it's catchy chorus, try Carved in Stone, it's a good one ;). HammerFall have some fantastic songs -- Riders of the Storm, Renegade, Blood Bound, Hearts on Fire, and some very epic songs, as well, like Glory to the Brave. Highly recommend checking out as much of their library as possible.
Now to get greedy -- There's one band I'd love for you guys to look into, they're severely underrated and their stuff is quite good. That's Dead End Finland, specifically the song Lifelong Tragedy. Hope you guys can find some time to check them out at some point, they're well worth a look! Thanks and keep up the awesome videos, it's fantastic watching you two share a common love of music!
Hammerfall is just EPIC!!!... LOVED these guys since day one!!!... They have quite the discography for you to dig into, and some great covers compilations too!!!... Another power metal staple you guys never touched on is Primal Fear... Ralf Scheepers, from Primal Fear, almost was in Priest when they picked Ripper Owens... His voice sounds more like Halford than Halford!!!...lol... great vid tho!!!!... Love these guys AND you guys!!!...lol

Nice one, cant beat a bit of power. Try Grand Magus - Forged In Iron/Crowned In Steel or Steel Versus Steel. I think they have a thing for steel:)
I was at a concert of them where this album was relative new and they played this song there :)

To be honest with the amount of epic tunes they've done, we could give you whole lists and you'd still find an awesome one whichever you went with. Last Man Standing definitely, as well as Hector's Hymn, but their older stuff (Legacy of Kings, Hearts on Fire, Heeding the Call, Riders of the Storm) rocks just as hard. (There's also some nice ballady stuff, Dreams come True (which one of my friends had as the first dance tune at his wedding,) and Always Will Be if you find you're in a mood for that.)
Still, whichever you select, you're in for a great time. Hammerfall are just consistently excellent.

If you've come to find a catchy chorus, you've definitely picked the right band in the right genre for it. Try "Last Man Standing" by them, as well.

While I do like Hammerfall, some of their songs seem to be at a slow but relentless pace, and a few times I've enjoyed them better by setting the playback speed up a little...I'm not against slower songs, but at times it just feels like its dragging

What are your thoughts on reacting to a metal instrumental? There's a Finnish epic music composer named Antti Martikainen that just released a completely epic instrumental folk metal album.
This track is 13 minutes long and kicks ass. REALLY epic. Recommend it for an epic Sunday episode!
