Not sure if you're still wondering or not, but I just booked a room starting 3 days from now for a 12 day stay. He isn't wrong. Everything I've read says you'll need to buy your own toiletries (including toilet paper once the 1 roll they leave runs out), they don't clean much, or give you fresh towels. Also, maybe it's new, but there is a 2.75 charge per day for electricity.

Awful place to stay. The rooms are falling apart. The sheets smell dirty. Do not recommend
