When combining a field with tougher spots use body jobs much better. Being doing this for yearsr.. Saves drying many times.. Take off some of the tougher spots little at a time ie.. Peat areas or outside rounds and leave large green areas (STRAIGHT CUTTING) there... Just come back at end of harvest or when caught up... Take small amounts of green (tougher areas) when combining and put into the first dump into like a tandem truck first dump all nearer front of say 3 dumps. It blends when unloading the load into bin... Like ya said little trucks for shi.. grain.. And if ya combine with a cart and too many combines or grain trailers too bad too sad. Everything in the same pot... You also can take off most of the tough areas and put into a separate truck and dry only or aerate. Sounds like a lot of work... But... So does drying grain or waiting for it to dry and it gets all rained on.. Get some smaller air hopper bins for tougher spots dumping best solution.....August Aeration dries grain faster and then move.. Does not hold ya up batch drying on good combing days...
We have been struggling to keep the unthrashed heads out even with our bigger machines. Low yields can't keep the machine full and get grain on grain thrashing. High returns as well, it's something everyone's dealing with in our area, cylinders are usually tight as you can get them and it still doesn't seem to be enough
Just went through that with my freightliner. Slow crank. Went to Disconnect battery cables to clean them and threaded post spins on neg of one battery. And positive of another battery. Had to drill them out to save the Cables. Replaced the 2 batteries and cleaned up all the cables and cranks good now. I don’t mind slow crank on my work semi that runs all day. But the farm semi needs to start good
Now, on those seeds riding out, you'd have to do a bushel weight on them, and I'd really truly think you'd find those seeds are light and blowing off with the wind setting being high. And I wouldn't turn down the wind.
@millionairefarmer. it's dumb because I tightened everything good like 2 weeks ago. And prior, I hadn't had problems for years. But I got the battery fixed, and then the front tire took a shit. Can't win, buddy.
I wrote the wife’s name in fertilizer on the lawn. Got it too thick, burned her name in. 🤣👍🍻. Still there with a bright green fringe around the letters. 😆🤣😂
She wanted me to fertile the whole lawn, I said no cause we’ll be cutting every few days, so I thought I’d show her what a little fertilizer would do. Got it a little thick. 🤷♂️👍🍻
@millionairefarmer. wicked hope harvest is going well. We are getting a pile of rain only half way though wheat so we will be down for a few days I'd say

I like cheap, haha. I think dad paid 2000 for our drier back in the late 90s. It had saved our bacon many times.
@@jeremycherny2041 right 2000 for the drier now it’s $2000 for the friggen drop pan

We want to get at our wheat here soon. I believe some was ready before this rain. I hope we didnt drop grade yet

Might need to check the battery cables where they pass through the frame.
@@ErVan_AG I was thinking it might be rubbed through but new batteries fixed the problem
That's awesome to hear! I kept saying you can't go wrong with wheat and barley. But I'm slightly retarded and keep putting in canola 😅
@@jeremycherny2041 you always have to seed canola just in case it’s the year for it
Can you put filler plates in your concave to thrash better?
@@markinfrance5740 I don’t know about these filler plates, we do have some but we have Sunny brook cereal concave so they are blocked up pretty good
My tractor did that again this morning. Cranked slow and wouldnt go. Ended up being a connection where the cable screws into the battery post end.
