- Hey guys! Today I'm putting a spin on my typical squishy makeover series. I've decided to challenge myself to paint as many squishies as I can in ONE day. Of course, I still wanted to make somewhat cute designs, so I worked at a pace where I could still paint something worthwhile. Hopefully you enjoy!

Hey! my name is Moriah (pronounced muh-rye-yuh 😂 ) and this is my channel....obviously. I'm 28 and like doing anything creative...and being snarky.....just a lil. I make a lot of decorating, painting and general art videos here. I'm obsessed with editing and adding lil bits to my videos, so if that's not your thing....oof you may hate this haha. I paint on squishies, thrift store finds, and other random things I pick up. I also love to draw, but don't expect anything too skilled, I'm not the best at that haha. You will also find occasional crafting/testing crafting kits on my channel which are always a hot mess. And even some baking (REALLY bad at that, but it's fun to try).

I'd love to see the Toucan get painted! Did you know Toucans are a type of woodpecker? Probally basic but I'd love to see a black body with all sorts of pastel colors on its beak!
no way, woodpeckers and toucans are related? That makes less sense than the dinosaur and the chicken😂 i would have thought that wouldn’t have been possible because I thought toucans were way bigger than woodpeckers and they come from different parts of the world. Thanks for the interesting info though!

@@wormboy5800 They belong to different families, but the same order: the Piciformes. Woodpeckers make up about half of the 400 species of Piciformes, but toucans form a much smaller family of around 40 species.

Edit: In fact, found the same article you copied and pasted and you missed out this crucial bit. “But belonging to the same order isn’t an especially close relationship. Toucans do use their huge beaks to reach into holes in hollow trees, but this is to steal eggs from other nests. They don’t drill through the bark and mostly eat fruit, unlike woodpeckers which are all insectivores.” So no, toucans are not woodpeckers. That’s like saying that apes are humans. Humans are great apes, like toucans are a member of piciformes. Gorillas are also great apes, like woodpeckers are also piciformes. I’d maybe edit your comment to clarify since it’s had a bit of attention.

i was really inspired by you a few years back and i actually had the exact same squishy as you!(the dinosaur or whatever the heck it is) and i tried to do my version of Squishy Makeovers. it really did not work out. i just didn’t have the correct materials and it was a whole mess and i was not patient with the paint drying so it is amazing to me how you have the patience for this and ability to do this!!

Moriah’s been a part of my schedule since 2018 and it feels strange if I don’t watch her videos weekly. Even then I still rewatch her videos 10+ times to the point that I can follow her speaking as the video goes XD

You should costimize a key board and each letter would have a different character! Like and repost so Moriah can see!
Base coat an opaque white under bright colours like yellow for less coats. Base layer a darker or enhancing colour under a dark colour. You can also make an opaque yellow base mix to put under yellow, red and orange that is a very opaque white with a touch of yellow. Will save a lot of time/layers/coats/effort.
Idk why, but Moriah has *that* certain vibe in which she can cheer anyone up

Sheryl Penguda is a great name for the penguin! I love how formal it is for a penguin hamburger lol. Do any of the other squishes have a surname? I actually really liked the doughnut - the colour scheme is so pretty. Can't wait to see you tackle the husky/wolf thing and the toucan!

Penguin - Persesame ( a word play of the goddess Persephone ). For the teeth you could tip them to sit with the teeth pointing towards the ceiling and turn it into a taco. The gums would be the shell, then ur fillings.

I honestly can't believe i started watching moriah when I was in second grade and now I'm a sophomore in highschool. She really was a big part of my childhood and I've loved to watch her and her channel, and her family grow as I've grown up :)
Adorable! I think Baby Plessie was worth all the extra time, they are so precious. If you wanted to make a plushie of Plessie I would buy that in a heartbeat. Also Pengouda Cheryl is amazing and so creative and I think the Georgie donut turned out cute! I know the point of these videos is quantity but i love that you never sacrifice quality and always work your butt off to make something that you're proud of. 🥰
