Gosh, I love your style of dance! Back in 2001 or 2002, I think I saw you perform at Barracuda in NYC--such a different time. Your show was so refreshing and fun. I was only 18 and drag performers kind of intimidated my recently out self. But you were so naturally captivating and didn't need to resort to dirty jokes as so many other queens do. I never forgot that night and today in a random Google/RUclips search kind of moment, I typed "Edie drag queen" and found this lovely video with the same style of dancing I enjoyed 20 years ago. Thank you for your charisma.
You are so sweet! I’m so sorry I am only seeing this now. You remember barracuda back in the day. That is crazy. They actually flew me out last October to celebrate their 25th anniversary. It was so special. And I hadn’t been to New York in five years so it was extra special. Well for 13 years I was in Cirque Du Soleil‘s Zumanity in Las Vegas. So I wasn’t around much outside of Las Vegas. But sadly my show closed permanently during Covid so I am back out on the road. Tonight I just got to Washington DC to perform tomorrow at Pride. Then I head back up to Provincetown where I will spend the rest of the summer performing. Follow me on one of the other social media’s. It’ll be so much easier for us to chat.
