When i have been looking for areas to settle in i had previously discounted La Mata as basically just an extension of Torrevieja but actually, since i've watched several of your vids recently, i have to say it looks pretty good with a bit of a community feel about it. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Matt! Sorry I haven't been in touch for a while, but it was nice to see the plaza where we had a long chat a couple of years ago. Hopefully I'll be in Spain in September, so it would be great to meet up again. Cheers from Mexico!
I've got two questions, is there any place on the beach (this time of year) where sunbeds and umbrellas are available? And the second one, what time did You make this video that the beach is quite busy?
Had looked mainly in this area, as originally we were going to the UK from the Philippines. But after working in the UK 9 months Spain was definitely the better option for the kids
@@LaMataMatt its great you made a decided on a location that you are happy with , Best luck on job hunting , I would say you would make a decent selling and letting agent , must be a lot of demand for the area you are in
Agree, as I know more about properties than a lot of people (not blowing my own trumpet, but from a surveying and engineering background). As well as happy to help people make the transition to Spain. So not just a case of selling a house but helping them relocate.
@@LaMataMatt Go for it and best of luck , it can be daunting , I notice in Spain multiple agents selling same properties , block management is where the money is if you can handle the repair and upkeep works , i know a guy who runs a management company and then set up a electrical and pluming business separately to pull of work , once you manage the blocks the works are endless
Very nice looking inviting. I'm sooooooo jealous 😞😞. Luck man matt enjoy it👍👍
Nice Areas, Very impressive,, Catch You on the Next one
La Mata looks so nice Matt, can't wait to come and see it, looks like a nice vibe there 2! chilled..
Not bad, but the beach could stand some cleaning and the rocks gathered and piled out of the way. More trees, perhaps.?

Gets a bit quiet in the winter. But not far from Guardamar or Torrevieja for a busier location.
What nearby cities can be reached by tram from Alicante? Or, by bus within an hour? Thanks in advance!
Hi, are there regular direct buses from la mata to torrevieja and Alicante, please
Yes, for Alicante you take the la Mata bus to the main station in Torrevieja.
Alicante Spain thank you so much, just one more question please, where do you catch it from ?
