Just a note on FSR: Since this game doesn't have the usual quality presets, you have to turn down the resolution scale in order for FSR to have any performance increase. Otherwise, it just acts as antialiasing rendering at native resolution and is less performant than using native TAA.

    • @mistamaog

By default, resolution scale is at 50% with FSR

These early stages run fine on the Ally, try it in the cities such as Atlantis and performance takes a huge nose dive in performance mode. Definitely needing more optimisation, graphics driver updates, etc.

Another thing that blew me away was the ability to replay some of my older steam library like good old Half Life, Bioshock, Rage etc. get over 120 fps on higher TDP and then still get really high FPS on the silent 10W mode !! yeah the steamdeck can maintain a pretty consistent 30 FPS on low settings with almost no crashing if you're using proton experimental. So its not much of a surprise that this can run it as well.

Should I get an Ally or an AyaNeo 2S for emulation? I want to emulate PS2/3 and Switch games mainly.

So this igpu at 50watts gives same performance as a full desktop 3060 in this game. Makes you think what the hell the devs are doing.

Quick question.. are you still able to run/PLAY Starfield on your z1 Xtreme. Cause mines just stop running and bethesday claiming it's not compatible when I've played it tons of time without an issue

When you docked it you were running the game at 50% render scale (I’m not even sure why you decided that’s when you should turn off FSR for CAS lol) instead of 100% like you were in handheld, not only is the image severely worse to the point where it’s not acceptable (540p at 1080p or 360p at 720p) but it will confuse your viewers with the performance you’re getting.
