I've been to Abu Simbel twice, and my video and photos pale in comparison to your excellent work. Thank you for putting this together. It is sad, by the way, how much was lost in building the Aswan Dam, I understand the needs of the region, but a lot of history is now under water.
Just subscribed to your channel and WordPress Website. Great content, footage and filming skills! I've been visiting Egypt since age of 20, now I'm a photo journo and novellist enjoying your work - thank you for that :D When I visited Abu Simbel (actual Arabic name "Abu Sunbul") the first time, we were amid a heat wave, 30 years ago, so we went there by van and arrived with the first sun rays. We were a small group and had the permission to go inside the huge cupola of concrete behind the temple. Will check out your uploaded videos to enjoy more. Respect and regards from Germany - Susan Ville
Thanks so much for sharing your story. That would have been so exciting to see the encasing structure beyond the temples interior walls. Truly was a blessing to visit it all by myself and without the distraction of other visitors.
I hope one day an artist or the government does a simulation of the original colours. I would love to see the true glory of these magnificent structures.
@@4KWorldWandering There's a project running in Egypt to build facsimile reproductions of tombs, in order to preserve the original places from touristic abrasive wear of reliefs. They started to recreate the tomb of Tut-ankh-Amun (location nearby H. Carters home in Egypt), I'm sure, they will recreate many more of the touristic attractions - especially tombs, in respect of the dead, which is an issue in the debate right now how to handle the excavation of mummies. I think it's a good way to protect gravesides from robbery and exploitation. Black markets have been existing for thousands of years there, but the destruction by visitors and fine arts sellers is concerning nowadays. So 3D-modellings and facsimile projects can help to display the highlights for tourists while protecting originals, and Egyptian artists can recreate the ancient work of their ancestors.
I’m not kidding bro if you have more of the stuff your channel blow up! People can’t get enough of 4K Egyptian pyramid or anything when it comes to megalithic wonders! People are starting to realize that there might not have been told everything when it comes to past civilizations and some of the stuff that’s in Egypt can’t even be explained to this day! I know if certain sites in Egypt that they don’t allow tourists to go and certainly don’t allow photos or video but I’ve seen some of the stuff through people that I smuggled stuff out and it’s so mind blowing that it would rewrite the history books and everybody will be talking about it but no one even knows and it’s all super secret! It looks like they might’ve had a technology when it comes to shaping and moving blocks the way over 100 tons and way more than even that! It’s tough we can’t even do the day with the heavy equipment that we have but they did it with rock hammers and copper chisels! Yeah right!!!!! There’s people that can only go there once every couple of years and they make some videos and they have 1 million followers on RUclips! If you live closer have access to Egypt on a regular basis you would be so rich when it comes to your channel because everybody would want to see your videos!
Dude this is a phenomenal comment -- thanks so much for the positive energy. I am currently travelling around the region so fingers crossed I get the chance to tour some more!
@@4KWorldWandering You should look up Brian Forester And uncharted X on RUclips! It will give you a better understanding of where to go and do some of your videos! They also do tours once or year and they get full access to inside all the pyramids and places they don’t allow regular tourists to go! Maybe you can get access??? Some of those guys are blowing up when it comes to popularity but if you live close you’ll end up being the man! Also really check into some of that stuff that they’re showing you you won’t believe it! Some of the stuff that you see doesn’t make sense with the technology they had back then it’s absolutely mind blowing and then to come find out it’s all over the world with the same exact looking stuff and then it really starts to make you think!!!🤯🤯🤯🤯 Can’t wait to see some of your new stuff thanks bro!

crazy, no single representation of a pyramid
Exploring this temple, was so surreal. The fact that you have it all to yourself is makes watching this all the more mesmerizing

Who in Gods name built those magnificent figures without the aid of modern tools. It must have taken years.
