Man, I feel ya' Lost a friend as well (don't wanna mention the date, sorry) in a Bike Accident. ~ not in London, but "outside" the Brighton. We were just calmly riding on the Mane/Prime Road, when suddenly some Idiot in a Track came out with Full-Speed from the Side Road (aka he was trying to enter ours from the Left side). He had the "STOP" Sign, both standing and on the road, but didn't bother. That way he hit my friend, and a bit me as well. The outcome was that the Friend had broken both Left Arm and Leg + some Ribs. [He didn't make it 😔] Not to mention that the Track Driver was a total idiot. Instead of come and ask if we are "Alright", he literally jumped out yelling at us, and I swear on my Soul, he tried to break my Arm (just b/c I said "WTF Man ?!"). And No ~ we couldn't stop if we saw him, b/c we didn't. We were on a literally Clear road (maybe 4-5 cars behind us ~ no one in front), so we were just on a "Chill" Ride. He came out from behind the Bus (that was standing next to the Road), so we didn't see shit untill the Second before the Hit. Fortunetly, I had both my Cameras ON, so when Police came, I just gave the Records for them. Oh, and of course there is 1 thing to explain: Why didn't he try to escape ? That's actually funny ~ in self-defense, I broke his arm... (that was also on the Record, so I didn't get _punished_ for that). I don't really know what happend to him. There was no Trial. If I remember right, the Police said they will take care of the guy, so I didn't bother about him.

Filtering is legal, all bikers i know and most on the road use their signals when filtering aswell. And some even turn on alarmlights when filtering inbetween traffic jams on highways. There's also that if a car hits another car it's not that big of a deal while when a car hits a biker it can really quickly become life endangering. Dont be a bell end, use signals.
