What is that flavor? I've tasted it before....? Yeah, it's called "mud"! 😅 Good bridling lesson, I'll use that trick of spreading out the crown; thanks!
Once again, enjoy watching you work with horses. It's great to watch trainers like yourself who work with horses , that requires them to do a job. Your wealth of experience is extremely appreciated.
Such a joy to watch your patience with the young horses. I love that they will never know careless, impatient handling. Was so excited to see your new video! Keep them coming. : )
Hello from eastern Oklahoma. Your. video just popped up so this is my first time to watch. I will subscribe. I enjoyed it. I enjoy videos of horses and cattle.
Been subscribed to this channel for awhile, and knew y’all were in SC but just now realized this is the ranch I ride through leaving SRS! Always love riding through there and looking at the broodmare pasture for babies.
So so true on the bridling part! I had to take the time to undue a problem with bridling on a horse I bought; because obviously somebody did a horrible job with him! I also really like your subtle sense of humor! Like your videos. Think I'll hit the subscribe button!
Hello my name is Curt martindale. I work for the Douglas Lake Cattle company up in bc Canada. Just subscribed. Love watching your videos. Have a good one.
You have to foal early to avoid the heat and we don't foal till May to avoid the cold. I've tried foaling in April and I always get a later blizzard so we stick with May.
@@AndersonCattleCo Can you do a meet the horses please and put in the video how tall each on is and how tall the foal is excepted to reach and how old each of them are please?
Richard, good video, I've got a mare who ya have to go a little slower on bit'n her up, you did a great job of explaining that to the young man. Look forward to seeing more videos.
@LowCountryCowboys good afternoon sir I’ve been watching your videos I like your content, and I would like to work at your ranch as well when a position opens.
Ok sir, I was expecting to see these guys know a bit more to have the privilege of working with a horse that has such a nice turn on her hind legs. What blood line does that mare Emma is working with has please? I LOVE your videos. Keep up the good work :)
@@LowCountryCowboys she defines the concept "it's in her bloodline..." I worked with a lot of Mustangs I used to get out of Canyon city in Colorado where we lived. If I picked the one with a good mind the end result was always amazing. A horse with nice bloodline and fine training could go far.
So glad you have made new videos. We love the ranch and all the training. Check out My self reliance on you tube Richard, you and Mr James could be twins
richard you are a great trainer but you look like you are wearing your hat backwards.....where is the old style...? seems the bend straight up on both sides is the style now ....it's ugly.....where's your old hats.....i bet they are cool....
I'd like to comment on the bridle.. you shouldn't put a bridal on the way you do.. with all. If like you have the horse in your balance area you on the shoulder so they can't back away from you putting it straight in the mouth.. working from the side is safer for you not to be struck. Try it with that motion and bet you move forward in a more quiet manner of respect for you and the horse. If you want I'd like to come join you and learning from each other would make lots of fun and I enjoy the Ballance of the mind body and soul of horses and good horsemanship.
Man if i was 40 yrs younger! I’d be giving you a call. Love learning
Missed their state, country from everyone! lol
