Dude, builds that can be thrown on multiple classes are awesome. Would love to see any/all you feel like showing. And maybe your tier list for the overall.
Fun idea! I would have thought things like blade cloak, arctic blast, etc were just repeat instances of direct damage, since they originate on you, and a DoT would be an effect that is persistent on the target. Nice! Really looking forward to finding some gameplay! Was it from a recent stream?
DoT is visibly defined by the orange numbers but anything that says it deals damage over time is going to fall within that category so regardless if it's an effect on u dealing damage in an aoe or a single target DoT it should still count unless like Nes said, it's from a status effect.

coil is better then most monster sets and we do not have room for a mythic and monster set. if i were to drop coil tho then you could do 2 balorgh for a lot of burst with your ult
@@Nessaiga the person who told me about it and I tested it on a 3mil dummy, only blade cloak, with and without thaumaturge, couldn’t tell a difference in damage output
Azure blight in the past was awesome. I thougt since the update that made a lot of dots only tick once every two seconds the set became garbage. To sad status and poisons dont at stacks

Azure also works with rapid strikes. It didn’t used to but it does now, not sure when that changed but that’s 4 ticks every second.
Maras and serpent are the definition of meta on sorc.

I had played this a couple months ago unfortunately. I did do this same build on stamden tho and it was solid

im not entirely sure on this, I’ve been told blade cloak isn’t considered a dot, much more direct aoe dmg
it is an aoe dot. can test yourself very easily

@@nevan4932 when you deal damage with quick cloak it appears as a orange number on the target which are dots and it gives azureblight stacks

markyn is fine, death dealers and pale order are also nice
Do you know if dot sets will procc blight seed stacks for azure? Like the dot from venomous smite for instance?

Yes. One barring azureblight will get you way less procs of it and decrease your damage drastically
