Modern Gamers ABSOLUTELY would check out a retro game, the modern juggernauts for kids are things like Minecraft....on a tablet. Weird control schemes and older looking visuals don't seem to bother the newer generations all that much, hell thanks to modern ports and emulation there is a love for some older titles that have had quite interesting ramifications. I can have a genuine conversation about Classic Sonic games thanks to the ios ports with a 8 year old as a 30 year old man, if anything it's the older people who were raised on console war stuff that turn their nose up to retro stuff.
This game is fascinating because 2 people can play it for 50 hours and have completely different experiences because some of these games can take a dozen hours alone. I will recommend to anyone to avoid Grimstone unless you REALLY like JRPGs, because it's basically just a classic JRPG with all its trappings and tedium but with the fun perfect timing mechanic tacked on. It's about 16 hours long.
To answer your question during Night Manor, I would definitely recommend Fran Bow as a point and click horror game. It's been my marbles pick for awhile (if I ever win lol)
This game is such a wonderful treat and homage to retro gaming, glad you enjoy it! My friends and I have been having a blast exploring all the content.
Neato! At first I was like ehhh $25 is a little too much but every game so far seems pretty legit. I was interested to see this after you mentioned the dinosaur game in another video.
It *is* 50 cents per game, and I think most games here are worth at *least* $5 (Party House in particular, LOVE that one), so to me it's quite a steal.
1:50:40 I think its hard to want to play a retro game you have zero nostalgia for. All the retro titles I play are ones I've played a million times when I was a kid. Not that those games are bad, but I agree I don't think a modern gamer wants to play retro games, at least I'm not that drawn to them. Unless I'm hearing universal praise or something like that. Although for the price point UFO 50 seems like a great deal to me, if you think of it, like you said, like a wario ware title.
I'm not nostalgic for retro games either. But the universal praise made me give it a go. I've spent nearly 12 hours on the first 5 games alone. These are very well thought out games with some having very interesting design philosophies. I highly recommend trying it. Many of these games are much more in depth than they first appear and this guy quit many of them way too early to formulate a true informed opinion on them. I highly recommend it and it might just be my GotY
I'm so glad to RUclips barb is here to keep me company while Twitch barb does actual important things betwixt streams. thanks king
I think they're the same guy

And yet big corpos think cutting edge graphics alone is worth $10 price increase... A polished turd is still a turd.
kids are currently dominating classic tetris and its great to see
Great VOD. I'm glad you are adding them to the channel. I know not all but something is nice.

UFO 50 may be my game of the year
It's too good

I've now watched 4 people try to play that ants game and no one can figure it out.
Reminds me of a plug & play bootleg N64 controller I had as a kid. It had about 200 arcade/NES games in it I think. Galaga was my favourite.
Very interesting game
So glad to see this uploaded to the channel!
Party house is life😂
this was a joy to watch
1:32:18 I love Barbs varying gamer faces lmao.

@@diggory4ii385 heck that's a great way to think of it!👍
@@diggory4ii385 So true. I would also spend $15 at least on Campanella 2 alone.

50 cents for warp tank, valbrace, Campanella, and Rakshasa is crazy

1:42:25 "5 Days A Stranger" is a good horror adventure game (and the first entry in a series).
That's a great one!

It’s Action 52, but actually good.
