A lot of great selections there but personally I think Lowe over Stockdale and Henshaw over Aki. I feel Henshaw can be the battering ram that Aki can be put can also have that bit of flair. Throwing it out there, I think Finn Russell deserves to be the starting fly half next year
Agree with most of your picks. Scrum half is my only dispute. I would have Price starting with Cooney and Davies as backup. To be fair 9 is looking like the weakest position in the squad as it stands. Too much of a bolter but I'd love Duhan Van Der Merwe to be picked. Not capped but there is no winger that I've seen in the last couple of years that has impressed me so much. Eligible for Scotland this year and he'll be a guaranteed starter in the Six Nations in 2021 so fingers crossed!
Youngs has to be there in the number 9 selection. You need experience in a lions squad which Youngs brings. I agree with Cooney rather than Murray. Murray has lost his flair and is miles behind Cooney in terms of creativity, raw talent and ability to think on his feet.
Cheers, reason not for Sexton is cuz he’ll be 36 when the Tour is on. A bit old. Cooney was a tough one, I didn’t go him because I think Andy Farrell need to pick him more for Ireland before he can be a Lion. Thanks for the questions 👍
Ireland must play Cooney. Youngs not good enough and Tom Williams hot and cold. If Davies crocked - big trouble. Murray may come back??? . Centres is a worry. Tuliagi and Davies getting on a bit. Ringrose - good - Aki? Slade? Farrell no arms. Looks like it could be tough.
@@inco9943 Send out a search party for Cooney. His exclusion is just silly. Gareth Davies has dipped and may not start in the 6Ns. Also happy with backrow options. I'm less concerned about the absence of Davies and Tuliagi now though. Concerned about Farrell - I think he can control it, but will be a marked man.
@@Hugo_BrabAzon I think the best bragging rights Ireland can have on selection, is a Beirne - Ryan 2nd row combo. I'd definitely put an in-form Beirne ahead of both Ryan and Itoje. Itoje is being talked up as capt - that can't be right? As for centres, for me a lot have emerged - not as crowded as backrow though.
Price over youngs, Sexton over Bigger. Larmour needs to get his place on the Irish team first. Only one of May and Adams will go.Who ever starts for Wales over the next 10 months will go ahead of Williams. Could easily be Webb or Davis. Stockdale could go as a full back or loose out to Lowe.
if sexton or stockdale are touring on current form theres something seriously wrong also may and adams are the two best wingers in the northern hemisphere currently tho admittedy watson pushes them tho both should start so not sure where only one of may or adams is coming from and tbh i dont see murray or youngs touring as 9s most likely davies and williams with either price or webb being the third choice

Stockdale has just got useless (btw I’m irish) agree with you though
I agree with Aki and Henshaw
@@Hugo_BrabAzon
he was horrible at 15 but he is still a good winger hes just more muscular now
Well yes i supposed I judged him badly as a full back but brilliant wing

I like price but I don't think he'll make the squad. Youngs has to be in there for his experience imo.
Also I agree with van der merwe - he's class!
Great video
What about sexton instead of Biggar as backup for farrel
Need to add James Lowe now he's joined the ireland squad - he might even be starter quality !
British and Irish and New Zelands and Fijians and Samoans Lions
Yep
Hasn’t aged very well
Lowe is shocking
@@jamesbrowne1792 I think his potential is through the roof but definitely won't be near the Lions this year
Mine:
15: Larmour
14: Jonny may
13: Gary Ringrose
11: Eliot daly
10: Farrel
9: Murray
(I’m irish so i tried not to be to biost
Please not Ben Youngs, not good enough for the Lions.MM
Where is part 2?
Part 2. The forwards will be out in a few weeks
@@extraoffload626 oh right nice
Ireland always produce the best centres in the world like Ringrose, aki, henshaw and of course brian o driscol
Really good video and big fan of the channel....(opinion, not shots) what bout Sexton and Cooney

Extra Offload Those are very accurate reason and np
Cheers man! Thanks for liking the vid means a lot 👌
Extra Offload no bother 👍
Where’s part 2
You need LRZ
Yeah I made this about a year ago when LRZ wasn't know. But yeah now def he's in the squad now.
Jonny May doesn’t play for Leicester

Murray may come back???

aki and ringrose both good imo you're def right about cooney though

reckon gareth davies should be in there followed by price
Nah I go for Murray and youngs
Can not see any Wales player making it...just NOT performing. Especially at scrum half....POOR pick there
Yep I’m irish and I would go for Murray and youngs
This didn't age well did it, at least 5 Welsh players in the starting test matches I see.
Wales won grand slam
No way Ben youngs will go. I’d say Gibson-park will instead
Swap young for Davies but good squad
Where is johnny sexton
He's old and past his prime
I’m irish but he is a veteran
Sexton over bigger any day. And all u saying Lowe but he is shockingly slow and not the best at defence so got to keep stockdale over him
Sexton is old and pst his prime, he also complains and dives
I agree with sexton but, man are you from ulster? James Lowe is fast and a good defender, not sure what you’ve been watching
I think it should be Owen Farrell at center and sexton at fly half but I agree with everything else
If the tour was taking place 3 years ago I might agree with some of your more absurd suggestions - you're living in the past

If Sexton and AWJ go, we’ve already lost.
@Cillian Cleary because of injuries but yes true
yep 100% need Lowe in lions squad
Henshaw is a starter.Plenty of those picks had horrible 6 nations.
Yeah I made this about a year ago so some of the picks will have changed. I will be posting a new version in the coming days. 👌
Aggre will all but Stockdale!?!
Lowe over Stockdale if he has a good 6 nations
@@ygnir1 too early to call
Yeah too early but Lowe probably will go
9. Cooney
10 finn Russell
11May
12 Tuilagi
13 Davies
14 Watson

swap sexton and biggar this dude is a little diva
I'm guessing you're Irish
Owen Farrell is sooo dirty
Sexton over bigger any day. And all u saying Lowe but he is shocking at defence got to keep stockdale over him

FFS are you serious stockdale, bigger, youngs, larmour, they ain't even close
LARMOUR IS CLOSE >:(
james lowe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
