But that sound, when you activate the turbo, the high pitch build-up, the short, deafening silence, and then the explosion mixed with the increasing FOV, it just evokes such raw power. Fucking incredible.
The last truly arcade racing game. After this installment, it seems no one could decide whether they were going for realistic, or Hollywood physics, ending up with some weird mix between the two. What made this game great is that you literally never used the brakes. You could take every single corner at any possible speed as long as you tapped the handbrake, and it felt good. You were never taken out of your flow by anything other than your own mistakes.
My Maserati cop topped out fully at 200mph and the racers still managed to outrun me (those series of cars cant go that fast) so its the same situation if you're to cop too lmao
I feel like the older games didn't have the cars going fast, a beefed up CV could catch up to a super car going down a regular road. Still felt weird though, especially in HP1, they caught me every time. HP2 was better with the car type changing the faster you chose.
1. Don't use your EMP (Electric Magnetic Pulse) while using your Turbo. The EMP is locking the target hardly while your car is moving too fast. You may use your nitro while locking-on the target. 2. Don't release spike strips after crashing. You might hit your own spike strip and will do a lot of damage. Make your plan so you will not fail it. 3. Don't use jammers when you're near crossing the finish line.

As you can see the Heli could keep up with his speed even in his turbo mode + doesn't follow the road, so trying to EMP the heli isn't impossible, but extremely difficult to do as it will just fly forward faster than him even with nitro, or just simply go out of his view in that point 2. Perhaps he deliberately trying to spike himself so the system won't count it as a car crash, and instead the system would consider it as a spike strip, as you can see the damage isn't massive, perhaps he was trying to spawn ahead immediately after the crash (I also noticed that he got boosted by the cop's ram and got back up to the race immediately). 3. There was a Heli trying to spawn a spike strip nearby finish line, he's trying to intercept it as the spike strip might hit him and the other opponents might claim the 1st place.
The best game in the world is Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2010 in Need for Speed Most Wanted to the best they could games before they made bad games like all the other Need for Speed
I used a jammer before the cops start the hot pursuit and they didn't start it and when I tried it on the PC version, it didn't work and the avoid hot pursuit with a jammer worked on the PS3 version for me EDIT: I used to play hot pursuit 3 but I don't anymore and I play Rivals and The Run EDIT 2: If your pro enough, you can EMP the helicopter
I would play Single Player more than ever, if they could make AI harder. I feel like after few minutes, you can pass everyone and just wait for cross line.

At least they drive fast cars now. In the early NFS, they were in Crown Victorias and still managed to keep up with lambos and such.
