I totally agree with Efra when he said that Jaya is truly a complicated artist (in a positive way). She tweaks and bends song tunes very randomly,, you'll never know when she's gonna attack the song her way, and her performances will just leave you at awe.

I remember this song as soft, melodic, and can be easily recalled. What Jaya did here is as you said, "a masterclass" of its own league. Batang late 80's (Kid of the late 80s) and I am a Jaya fan too!

Hi Waleska and Efra. I came home for a brief vacation
(in the early 2000s) and heard Jaya's voice on the radio ("Elizabeth Ramsey's daughter", my friends chorused)_ and I became an instant fan. This song has been one of my favorites: along with DAHIL BA SA KANYA and IKAW LAMANG, with Janno Gibbs. Not sure if the songs were pop-jazz or r&b. Please help, Waleska.
Jaya's mezzo soprano voice has matured and 'am not sure when I would hear her again (she recently moved back to the States). I hope she would do another amazing OST like Hanggang Dito Na Lang (Jaya's recent hit music) or an EP. Thanks for your reactions.

waaahhh...one of my fav...Jaya's songs are those songs to listen to if you're sad and you like to be more sad lols..hahah..anyways her original version of this is much more upbeat/faster...she made this version slower here..this is still good but I like the original version better...also check out her "Hanggang Dito Na Lang" the riffs and runs there are so lit! a must song to listen to 😉

Jaya is the daughter of Elizabeth Ramsey who's one of the 1st Jazz singer of the philippines and became one of the top comedians in the movies, Jaya was Stevie B backup vocals and i remember her 1st husband is the drummer of Stevie B...
