- I know there are already a million walkthroughs if this wonderful deck but as a huge Raven Cycle fan I thought I would contribute some of my impressions as to how the images on these cards also relate to the books. Thanks for watching and enjoy!

I can’t wait for the new Ronan trilogy. Maggie’s amazing and when I found out she had also made this incredible deck it blew my mind.

I returned as promised to watch the rest of your walk-through and I'm so glad I did! You had a lot of great things to add to the discussion about this deck, made me see things I hadn't seen or had forgotten was in the books. I clearly need to reread! :D I agree with you about the Magician card. I instantly fell in love with that card and ever since, the Magician in any deck is ultra important to me. Which, granted, has a lot to do with how I'm trying to manifest my dreams right now, but that card set a great tone. And it makes me think of Adam Parrish.

I’m delighted you linked to my video and that you think it added to the conversation around the deck...it’s so cool to meet other fans of the books who also use the deck because I feel like while the deck is accessible to anyone, if you ARE a fan of the books it will have another layer to it...it’s like it contains Easter eggs for book fans almost. 😆 (For example, one of the other reasons that Empress card makes me think of Cabeswater is because of how the card seems to depict multiple seasons, like how sometimes when they walk into Cabeswater it’s a different season than it was outside? GAH I LOVE THIS DECK!!) I’ve actually been tempted to buy another copy too recently because I trimmed my copy so all the orange is gone but I feel like I didn’t do a good enough job and I want to try trimming it again but this time leaving the title on the bottom...no harm in having backups right? 😆
Also that’s so cool that you’ve met Maggie. I think she’s great. Have you seen that she’s working on a Scorpio Races deck? I don’t love that book as much as the Raven Cycle but her artwork for the deck still looks awesome. People who are that multitalented blow my mind. And now I want to go check out your video where you talk about this deck!
Nope, there absolutely no harm in getting more copies! :D And that's so cool about the different seasons in the Empress card! I was so enthralled with learning tarot when I got this deck that I didn't look for as many tie-ins to the book as I should have. Your video offers that, which is why I love it! I CAN'T BELIEVE she's working on another deck! Aaaah! Scorpio Races was the first book I read by her, and I liked it a lot, but Raven Cycle stole my heart. I must go in search of these images. And I hear ya on anticipating Ronan's trilogy, too. So many goodies to look forward to!

Oh yessss!!! That moon card is fabulous. I hadn't been following her since I'm new to Insta (and stupid!). I saw the earlier images for the Scorpio tarot that I believe she's scrapped, and I didn't love the color choices for that first set. I prefer both the palette and style she's doing now a lot more simply because they suit the story better IMO. BTW, I found an old trailer for The Raven Boys, music and animation by her.
