    The wall pocket design was gorgeous; it combined romantic, shabby chic & farmhouse! I would drill holes a bit larger to help ease in fabric strips.

    I just finished making 8 of those smash can baskets. Giving them for favors at a shower. So much fun. Painted all the cans, then some I decopodged with fall leaf napkins or patterned napkins before I smashed the can and then added some cut out cards on top .
    Some I left with paint and either used stickers or rub ons. I made a Christmas one, bunny one…then added flowers or greenery to them. I did use a nail to make holes on each side and used jute, some with wire and beads for handles.

    Lisa,
    The smashed can is beautiful.
    (Help with can.)
    You need one of those curved needle’s or straight needle’s that have a large eye. I think they are upholstery needs they come in a set of 5 10 different sizes. I have a set I got at Walmart. They are not very expensive.
    I got mine to sew the thick boarders of pillow shams together using cross stitch thread to make a cute baby blanket for my granddaughter. I found these pillows shams on clearance at Walmart for less than what you could buy a similar country quilted baby blanket I was looking at.
    I bought 4 shams. My blanket was bigger and still cost less, even though, I had to buy the cross stitch thread and needle pack.

      That's good to know mod podge is £18 a bottle where I am.

    • @Lia2222
      @Lia2222 2 года назад

      @@ginacable5376 oh my!!!! Whaaaat??? No way....8 tablespoons of Elmer's white glue and 2 tablespoons of water.
      What I do is used the old empty bottle of mod podge I had and filled it with these 2 things and shook it up good. It's already in the mod podge container so I didn't have to label it.
      I only had a small container.
      For a larger portion, use 16 tablespoons of glue and 5 tablespoons of water.
      Also, I tested it to make sure it would work the way it should on something I practiced on.
      That's basically all it is is glue and water.
      ⚘️You're welcome! ⚘️
