it's lovely to "get to know you better" through these Q&A's, as I listen to your music regularly to help me relax and unwind. I'm a busy mum/ carer to my severely disabled child, and currently struggling with my anxiety, so it means a lot that I have found music to help me.

Hi Emily, I accidentally stopped and listened to one of your YT posts and was amazed and captivated with your incredible voice. I’m a 65 year old musician and played in bands most of my life, but retired a few years ago. I have many great memories and lived through my love of music and professional entertainment and performing for people all over the Southwestern US. You have a bright future ahead of you and I know you will become a very accomplished performer. There is no better rush than having crowds of people supporting and welcoming you as their entertainment in the wonderful and magical world of musical entertainment. Emily, I am a guitarist. My undergrad degree is in Classical Guitar. Arthritis has taken away most of my guitar skill but I occasionally take out my Ovation guitar that has very low action but it is frustrating. I have one question for you: Is the studio, in which you record, in your home? It is an amazingly well-appointed studio. I am surprised you are not already world-famous because you are amazing. I am 70 years old and your biggest fan so you reach people of all ages. Stay as beautiful as you are when fame does come your way.

The studio was custom built for her mom (Christine) during her career. Christine does so much work behind the scenes for Emily.

I used to love American Idol, but now you can’t win unless you are country. Emily, you are well beyond American Idol.
The best entrants on any Simon Cowell show rarely win. Two recently was Marcelito Pomoy, and Angelina Jordan who both got the golden buzzer, Angelina was placed fifth, no way 😢
You should try out for the Voice. I feel you could win, especially with all the followers you have.
You're a good singer with many songs in a wide range. I initially subscribed due to the Beatles songs like "I will" and "All my loving". The Piano is good also. I think a Shakira song would be great.
I never heard the song Falling until you Emily, did a cover. Now, it's the only version I know, and I love it so much! I am not a singer, but in private I find singing that song while it plays a very powerful emotional experience. When the mood strikes me of course. To tell you the truth, since I mainly rock out, many of your songs are a first for me. "Both Sides Now" I remember a bit from the past is also one of my favs. My very favorite song of yours is "Time Goes By" it's a very beautiful song. Just wanted you to know how your music is much appreciated! Good luck with your studies and all your endeavors!

Hi Em, you come across very well in the Q & A's. It's a good forum for you. Your speaking voice and singing voice are both very easy on the ears A few thoughts:
As a chocolate lover, it's too bad you're allergic. Chocolate is one of life's simple pleasures, but of course your health is most important.
It speaks very well of you that you took in Rocky. It says a lot of good about a person who loves animals. My family took in cats and we named one little guy Mickey. At first, he didn't want anyone to touch him, but we just kept loving him until he became the most loving, attention seeking cat we ever had. I'm sure it's good for you and Rocky to have each other.
The bit with the sunglasses was very cute, and you look very cute in them.. I hope your music career flourishes, but fame can be a double-edged sword.
If you come to the States to perform, we'll roll out the red carpet for you. If you decide to go to school for music, there are a lot of good music schools here.
