What an origin story for Lorm. First, he's a cold-hearted Orc who enjoys the feel of pain, then you burn him so he can't feel pain anymore, torture his blood-brother until his head pops off, and finally, you take his arms, which in turn gives him the ability to feel pain again, now believing himself to being your equal.

Every time I try, I get cheated because of the game replacing my captain after making me wait for like 6 hours. I love this game, but sometimes it’s just so cruel 😔
Not the first try, no. Only, on some RARE occasions, did this happen. About the tenth, in this one (because of the executions that are 90% the wrong ones, and 5% just him cheating death, as the Claw) I edit the videos shorter, since my statistics tell me that people watch about 4/5 minutes of my Stormbringer videos (the end result, mostly, before asking me "How did you do it?") With Stormbringer, I make backups, right before fighting him. The process is always the same : Get him ready for the kill. Watch Talion swing his sword into the orc's shoulder, for the fifth time. Exit the game. End the video. Get the Streamlabs ready for the next one. Finally get the right move. Leave Talion to wait on a high spot, somewhere safe, and wait 30 minutes. Get Streamlabs ready to record the return. Witness him come back, as himself with a hook, or as the Claw. Bite your fist, in frustration. Get ready to fight the orc again.

The Blizzard needs the Blade of Galadriel Story DLC, to spawn in your main game. And yes, the Assassin usually comes back, one way, or the other. As himself, The Infested, the Blight, etc.
@@justlilolme8940 huh interesting, hopefully I could encounter another blizzard incase I killed one due to iron will or bad rolls. And yea he came back a bunch with perks that nearly got me, he even had no chance
@@justinbell2166Do not worry. Blizzard, like other DLC orcs and more common ones, will respawn randomly many times, in your game. And all Assassins, in Shadow of War, will have the "No Chance" ability. Unlike in Shadow of Mordor, where it is random. So, every time an Assassin downs you, you'll die. No last chance. No Humiliation.
I 100% agree with you. Deranging orcs is something I usually avoid doing. Even to those I hate. Because losing one's mind is the worse fate. But I made an exception for cases like this one, to give enough reasons to the main target to ambush me, many times. The "Hi & Bye" technique works well enough, but you need to do it many many times, while the blood-brother ambushes flags an orc as a Nemesis, after only a few encounters.
1) You'll need to make sure that you already got a Machine. Once that is done, RNG will decide if your main target will come back as himself but with a stitched up arm, or with a hook. As the Hook (wich is only a change of title). As the Claw. As the Survivor (again, just a new title. no new personality). Or, as the Stormbringer. Always make backups of your saves, before killing the target. Because RNG also decides which execution move Talion will use. 2) Look for orcs who use either Nolan North's voice (the same as the Stormbringer), or Steve Blum's (you're more likely to get a Stormbringer. As well as a Claw.) 3) Interact enough times with the target, until, at some point, he decides to taunt you a second time during a fight, after he makes you use your "last chance". That's the confirmation that he's most likely to cheat death. Again, make backups, once you've got the confirmation that he's ready. 4) Finally, I've noticed that Slayers, berserkers and beastmasters are more likely to become the Stormbringer.
The Flame of War? Of course. He's usually the fire first transformation, from burning an orc. Unless a captain has a title that cannot change. To result in the Burned/Inflamed a Flame of War needs to be present.
Are you trying to create a Stormbringer, from an orc voiced by either Nolan North, or Steve Blum? Other voices won't work. But even with the right voice, the RNG can make things frustrating. Whenever I work on a Stormbringer video, you can be sure that I always make a backup, right before the kill. Because doing everything right, doesn't guaranty that the RNG won't make the target cheat death, as the Claw, the Hook, the Survivor, or with only a stitched up arm. Is your orc riding a Caragor? Has he been Shamed? Is he a Commander, an Assassin, or a Trickster? If the answer is "Yes", to one of these three questions, it's not gonna work.
I have a couple questions 1. Is there anything you can do to like backup saves on xbox if you want to get a stormbringer and the executions not right 2. Can stormbringer come from savages the axe user and 3. Say i was to make 2 dark stormbringers would they come back with the same armor
1. I'm not really sure, since I don't play many games, on consoles. But I think you'd need to save your progress on the cloud, then de-sync from it. Kind of like a backup. That way, you could replace your data already in your console, every time you want to try again. Once you're satisfied with your new progress, you can upload it on the cloud, instead. 2. Yes, you can get a Stormbringer, from savages. Just like warriors and hunters. 3. It depends on your soon to be Stormbringer's current body. If he has a normal one, he'll get a commander's chest piece, with his Nazgul arm. If he has burns on his body, I think it's 75% that he won't be wearing the commander chest piece. For other messed up bodies, like the sick one, or the maggots filled Making a Stormbringer, no chest piece. I believe you meant to recruit one, send him to your garrison and try getting a different Stormbringer from the cloud save? Because, like the other death cheaters, you can only have one, per playthrough. But dropping one or more Blight, Flame of War, Stormbringer, etc, into a new save, is totally doable.
An easy way is is your get wrong execution immediately close the game completely just before the red x marks out the captain as dead them boot the game back up and they should still be there untouched. Hope this helps😊
@@GiyuuTomioka537 No. As far as I know, it only prevents you from turning an orc, into the Stormbringer. It's fine to shame, if you intend to turn them into the Machine, Flame of War, Blight/Poisoned/Plague-Bringer, Forsaken/Nameless One, Skinless/Ever-Wounded/Raw-Head.
No. Certain titles won't ever change, like Black-Blade, Amputator, Blood-Axe, Poet, Singer, Drunk, etc. Also shamed/deranged/maniac, captains who are missing the left eye from cheating death (those who naturally spawned with a missing eye should be fine), as well as caragor riders can't become Stormbringers. And the two voices you want, are Steve Blum's, and Nolan North's.
Not the Maggot, no. His personality won't ever change. The exception being his deranged state. And his decoys lose the maggots, once promoted to captains. But I can certainly do it on the Maggot Lord, which is not the same orc, but still is full of maggots. And it wouldn't be possible to do it to the Infested, because that kind of transformation is final. Just like the Machine, the Blight, the Flame of War. I'd need a decoy. One who'd become the Slaughterer, or the Nightbringer.
@@baileymcilvain1759 Indeed. Some orcs won't ever change personality/identity, sadly. But can lose their mind, due to shame. (The Tower and the Drunk won't become deranged. Not even the Poet, or the Agonizer, I think.) Some examples of orcs who can only become deranged : The Singer, Diseased, Maggot, Black Blade, Ranger Killer and others I might be forgetting. But, coming back to the Singer and the Poet, I once tried to turn a Duelist (an orc with a similar sleeve) into the Stormbringer, without success. Because, apparently, that sleeve counts as a hook, or a peg leg. So I'm turning my attention to turning a King-Slayer into a Burned/Inflamed Stormbringer. Since Nemesis Slayer told me how they managed to get one to become the Claw. A Stormbringer with a Golden Nazgul Hand is my next project.
It may work on the Chill as well. People make Stormbringers from savages too. (I simply prefer warrior Stormbringers) And the Chill uses Nolan North's voice. Which is one of those that can become the Burned/Inflamed. (But the burns would make him lose the helmet) I could try this out and keep you updated on the results.
Well, I just tried it. But he pretty much loses his look from the Chill. Death by fire, to turn him into the Burned/Inflamed, makes him lose his helmet. And after that, making him cheat death as the Stormbringer hides his Unashamed body under a commander chest piece and regal shoulder pads. Same as for my Painted Stormbringer. Again, it works. But he loses what makes him special, in the first place.
Now im on my own hunt to create a SB. I got a Nightbringer who I let him kill me 2 times and when when I kill him with the right execution and wait 30 minutes, There is no cheat death at all. And I'm on a new save so I only got 1 cheat death so far. So I dont understand why he doesn't cheat death. Should I keep restarting (I use save files before killing him) until he finally returns? I dont know if I'm doing something wrong or if I just gotta keep restarting until he cheats death. I've also been told that I gotta finish all Carnan quests to make him cheat death, but its still not working. What should I do? I've tried and killed him 3-4 times already.
1) Commanders, Assassins, and Tricksters won't come back, as the Stormbringer. At least, not with the one execution we use on the others. 2) It won't work either, on Orcs who ride caragors, or those who got shamed. 3) In this video, at 11:40, there's a moment where the Captain drops me on my knees, for the quick time event to save my life. When I get back up, I can listen to a second line of dialogue. If you can do the same with any Orc, after enough interactions, it's a sign that he'll definitely cheat death, the first time.
He's a Warmonger Tank Nightbringer. No caragor or shame. Should I let him kill me more times and keep trying then? Edit: Btw, he did have a second dialogue after he downed me. Does that mean I should just keep restarting?
@@CHKing_117 I rarely let orcs kill me, on purpose. I simply get their attention, listen to their banters, and leave. I also mess with their Blood-Brothers, to force the ambushes. But it it also possible that you may be dealing with the common bug, that prevents death cheaters. In a region, there's always one corpse that won't be replaced by a living Captain. If there are more than one corpse, and moving an Orc from the garrison won't replace them, the game flagged those corpses as death cheaters. And, until those death cheaters make a come back, there won't be others, who will actually cheat death. This is a very annoying bug, that forces you to start a new game, for it to work again.
@@justlilolme8940 Well the Nightbringer is the only corpse I have in Minas Morgul, and even after deploying an orc from the Garrison, he had to kill a random captain and the Nightbringer corpse is still there, wich leads me to think that he is selected to cheat death. I find Ice Storm to be most useful, when keeping it going, endlessly. It builds the Wrath, nicely. Plus, it is useful in getting a Blood-Brother's attention, without killing the frozen orc, too quickly.
@@justlilolme8940 okay and let's say a captain has every immunity in the game and has no weaknesses or dazes. @@Joseph-wj1xq Hmm. I'll need a minute, to read the edited previous comment. Ignore the rest of this reply, it is no longer relevant. It depends on the interactions. Usually, three Blood-Brother ambushes to defend, plus one to avenge a deranged/maniac, and one to avenge the death. But listening to normal combat banters, can require up to nine, or ten interactions. Again, it can be different, from one captain to another. But you'll know that they are ready to cheat death, if they chat with you a second time, after surviving the last chance (quick time event). The second chat can't be triggered by assassins, or humiliators. (For humiliators, it can only work, during their death threat mission, or when fighting them as an overlord.) Outside of death threat missions, you can move to another region. Only one Nemesis will follow/ambush you, in another region.
@@Joseph-wj1xq 1) If a captain has every immunity in the game, and has no weaknesses/dazes, I'd terrify him, using other Orcs/Ologs, around him. The pinning ability that terrifies those around, is very effective. 2) A captain without a Blood-Brother, would simply require more interactions. About nine, or ten, the first time. Check, with the second chat technique. 3) You need to wait about thirty minutes, in game. That is why, I leave Talion in a safe spot, to wait. Careful not to wait, when a drake is nearby.
@@justlilolme8940 the ice pinning method doesn't work on ologs. I've tried it a bunch of times and it didn't work for me. @@justlilolme8940 lol so it's actually possible to get Stormbringer in the latest versions? Every video I've seen about making Stormbringers are in older versions because it's easier (or that's what they say)
@@CHKing_117 I never changed version, to get a particular death cheater. What you really need, to make it easier, is to create a Machine, first. Then, find an orc warrior, hunter, or savage, who's voiced by either Nolan North (same voice as the Stormbringer), or by Steve Blum (same voice as the Burned). It is much easier with Steve Blum's voice. You may also get the Claw, but that's RNG, for you.
Does this process always work with any Uruk captain that has a warrior weapon and a Blood Brother? EDIT: Also, does he have to be burned or can he be "purified" and come back with cursed skin instead of burns?
It can work with any class that can be turned into the Stormbringer. Like the warriors, savages, hunters. I don't know, about archers, or shield-bearers. And I only used the blood-brother, as a quick way to make the main target my Nemesis. But you can do it any way that works. But never shame the target, or he won't become the Stormbringer. And you might need to wait for the captain to be randomly cursed, by leveling up. Because purifying/cursing an orc, might result in him becoming the Specter/Wraith-Touched. Making it impossible to get him to become the Stormbringer, afterward. You need an orc voiced by either Nolan North (Stormbringer's voice), or Steeve Blum's (The Collector/Brander/Nightbringer). The Specter/Wraith-Touched can be turned into the Flame of War, or into the Blight/Poisoned/Plague-Bringer. Maybe into the Machine as well, but I'm not sure.
Since one cannot recruit orcs, from a Friendly conquest (which is pretty dumb), the only way for you to recruit him, is from a Vendetta. So I dropped him, from my garrison, into a save that would lower his level. I then made him my bodyguard, forced a betrayal, and quit the game (using Task Manager), as I used the Wraith Vision to look at his traits. This technique prevents the Iron Will. Finally, I got him to kill me. He is now a level 61 Nemesis, in Nûrn. This account's Friend Code is 882273993
True. If I were playing for real, I'd probably focus more on finding, and upgrading my gear. I'd probably equip some full Slaughter set. But for farming, I mostly equip the basic stuff, that can still help me, when creating specific death cheaters. OP gear, would result in more accidental orc deaths, than anything.
It's possible I'm wearing the armor from the Dark tribe, in this one. I can't really say I care much, about the abilities from the outfits. Excepted, when I need to burn, poison, or curse an orc. You'll be able to dominate orcs, after Minas Ithil's last stand, against the Witch King. Which shouldn't take long. About ten small story questlines, You only will be able to dominate orcs, at your level, or below. Higher leveled orcs, will require you to shame them, or level up, by killing other orcs. You may encounter orcs with an Iron Will. Which means that they will resist your attempt at recruiting them. Shaming them, can solve this. (May require more than one shame.) The exception being, orcs from Minas Morgul. Some Iron Willed orcs, from that region, won't ever lose it. Also, on some rare occasion, certain orcs will spawn with Unbreakable. Which would make it impossible to lower their HP to a point of being able to dominate, or shame them. Now, for the tips : 1) If on PC, you can make backups of your save files, to make your life easer. I have made a video, on how I do it : "Shadow of War : How I Make A Backup (For PC)" 2) Terrifying an orc, can temporarily remove all their immunities, and leave them vulnerable to an instant domination/shame. If the target has no terror to exploit, you can find, in your character skills, in the Range Category, a pinning ability to terrify most of the orcs around the one pinned. (More effective than the Brutalize Skill, I find) 3) If you want your target to die in a specific way, and be 100% sure that they'll cheat death, you need to interact enough with them, that they'll chat with you a second time, during a fight. An example of this, can be found in this video, from 11:28, to 11:40. Make sure that they are the one putting you down on your knees, for the quick time event. (Does not work, on Assassins. And only works on Humiliators, during a death threat mission.)
They should have given the option to interrupt their little talks with a knife to the skull😅. Some of those speeches are annoying and way to long sometimes😅

Poor maggot orc😢
I 100% agree with you. Deranging orcs is something I usually avoid doing. Even to those I hate. Because losing one's mind is the worse fate.
But I made an exception for cases like this one, to give enough reasons to the main target to ambush me, many times.
The "Hi & Bye" technique works well enough, but you need to do it many many times, while the blood-brother ambushes flags an orc as a Nemesis, after only a few encounters.
Wriggling wrigglers
I have been playing since release and never ONCE did I ever get a stormbringer. How do I get one?
As well as a Claw.)
3) Interact enough times with the target, until, at some point, he decides to taunt you a second time during a fight, after he makes you use your "last chance". That's the confirmation that he's most likely to cheat death.
Again, make backups, once you've got the confirmation that he's ready.
4) Finally, I've noticed that Slayers, berserkers and beastmasters are more likely to become the Stormbringer.

Bro I keep on getting a sewed up arm on my orcs
@@Nuka_CutterYT ok ill have to try that is it affective for u and what do u do if it dosent cheat death

@@justlilolme8940 does it also affect the machine orc
@@GiyuuTomioka537 No. As far as I know, it only prevents you from turning an orc, into the Stormbringer.
It's fine to shame, if you intend to turn them into the Machine, Flame of War, Blight/Poisoned/Plague-Bringer, Forsaken/Nameless One, Skinless/Ever-Wounded/Raw-Head.
Doesent it work if u hzst die to him multiple times
It works, if you die to him many times, or simply interact often.
Question: Can this work with any orc with a sword, and any voice?

@@Rtzjosh Thanks! And yes, I do have Discord. The link is in the video description.
Can you make the of the maggots or of the flies the storm bringer without decoys?
Not the Maggot, no. His personality won't ever change. The exception being his deranged state. And his decoys lose the maggots, once promoted to captains.
But I can certainly do it on the Maggot Lord, which is not the same orc, but still is full of maggots.
And it wouldn't be possible to do it to the Infested, because that kind of transformation is final. Just like the Machine, the Blight, the Flame of War.
I'd need a decoy. One who'd become the Slaughterer, or the Nightbringer.
@@justlilolme8940 interesting. Alright thanks.
@@baileymcilvain1759 You're welcome!
@@justlilolme8940 one last one I’m guessing it’s also a no on the “bard/poet” orc
@@baileymcilvain1759 Indeed. Some orcs won't ever change personality/identity, sadly. But can lose their mind, due to shame. (The Tower and the Drunk won't become deranged. Not even the Poet, or the Agonizer, I think.)
Some examples of orcs who can only become deranged : The Singer, Diseased, Maggot, Black Blade, Ranger Killer and others I might be forgetting.
Imagine this worked on the chill orc
It may work on the Chill as well. People make Stormbringers from savages too. (I simply prefer warrior Stormbringers) And the Chill uses Nolan North's voice. Which is one of those that can become the Burned/Inflamed. (But the burns would make him lose the helmet)
I could try this out and keep you updated on the results.
Sad thanks for trying
Kinda wish he kept the helmet but still awesome
Yep.
@@CHKing_117 What about the corpses, in the other regions?

In your opinion is wraith stun better than ice storm. Personally I like wraith stun but then I can't get the treasure hunter ability
How would you stun him if he was an olog or just a regular orc and how would you make him cheat death if he didn't have a blood brother. And when waiting 30 minutes do you have to wait in game or can you just log out and then play another game to wait?
(For humiliators, it can only work, during their death threat mission, or when fighting them as an overlord.)
Outside of death threat missions, you can move to another region.

You'll be able to dominate orcs, after Minas Ithil's last stand, against the Witch King. Which shouldn't take long. About ten small story questlines,
You only will be able to dominate orcs, at your level, or below.
Now, for the tips :
1) If on PC, you can make backups of your save files, to make your life easer. I have made a video, on how I do it : "Shadow of War : How I Make A Backup (For PC)"
2) Terrifying an orc, can temporarily remove all their immunities, and leave them vulnerable to an instant domination/shame. If the target has no terror to exploit, you can find, in your character skills, in the Range Category, a pinning ability to terrify most of the orcs around the one pinned. (More effective than the Brutalize Skill, I find)
3) If you want your target to die in a specific way, and be 100% sure that they'll cheat death, you need to interact enough with them, that they'll chat with you a second time, during a fight.
