To work that out, I loved her and I went to save her and her prince husband and her father from Gaston.

Dealing with that idea alone could make anyone feel bitter and uninterested to almost anything actually; so with Belle he at least is trying to put himself back together. As for the song though, I think it’s great, as it shows the servants have wants too while getting things cleaned up and ready for them to be human once more.

Because the song is about them envisioning what they're going to do when they're human again. It wouldn't really make sense for them to sing it when they already turn human.

I was given the honor of portraying Lumiére in a production of Beauty and the Beast and this was my absolute favorite part to perform!
Also became among my favourite of the songs, as it gives more story to both Beauty and Beast and the furniture turned servants
