We just saw 'The Beat Goes On' at the Irving Arts Center. Lisa McClowry is GREAT! I've seen several 'Cher' imitators, but Lisa is the best by far. She has the mannerisms & facial expressions down pat & the backup band was fantastic!

Huge Cher fan. And only going off the video. I good likeness. But still a few lengths away from Cher.
I just watched the beat goes on and I think she over exaggerated chers dancing. In the beginning her arms were flaling around and she was off beat. Not saying she's a good dancer but she wasn't that bad. Then I dont no if I believe she was upset that the show was their life and what about the marriage. Please. She wanted the fame and fortune as did sonny but in all these documentaries there's always one that tries to portray they'd rather have a simple home life and would give it all up when that's all they had to do. Now she's still going at 78. What happened to a normal life?? Smh
Couldn't be any worse than the real Cher's last tour-- totally canned, she was bored to death. Would have been better if she'd just put on a wig and came out and danced with us.
Decent voice but still looks like an impersonator.
