Today we will be looking into the history of the Los Angeles Red Car transit system. We will explore ruins of what was once the largest electric railway system in the world.

I lived in Los Angeles County from 1966 to 2010. I loved the beaches, mountains, museums, etc., but when I retired I left all the crimes and taxes for elsewhere. Your videos are great, because they remind me of a once great place to live.

You can still ride the red cars at the Southern California Railroad Railway Museum in Perris. They have a lot of great memorabilia from that era.

I went there with my Uncle around 2016. We got on the LA railway. My Uncle hadn't gotten on one since the 1950s.
