At home too, we have this belief that crying and sadness prevent the soul of the deceased from leaving in peace. When my mother died, I dreamed that she asked my sisters and me (young adults) to stop crying because "we were stopping her from leaving." Of course the crying increased and we all thought that this dream came from the influence of ambient “folklore”. Since then, following a long journey, I believe in it and I try as best I can to manage my tears and my sadness when loved ones leave us. Thank you 🙏 🌺

My most devastating change was when I lost dad and mom within 19 months, plus I got devoced and lost my job😢 When we slid my dad into the back of the hurst. I ran and hide behind some cars so he would not see me cry. I was devastated losing everything .

I think Shi is a Buddhist & you have to be on the Buddhist path to understand why it is best to be detached from things. Shi even alluded to it in this video, as it causes suffering when that person is no longer there any more. You can still appreciate & even love people while accepting that they will one day leave your life.
Sometimes it happens that you accumulate and accumulate so much inside that the only way to get over it is to go through these sufferings and emotions, if I become hardened with time I will lose the ability to feel myself and to feel and understand other people, am I wrong? Will you understand what the other person is feeling if you haven't been through it yourself?
