New Helipad at Rockford Memorial Hospital

Work has been completed on a $660,000 state-of-the-art new rooftop helipad at Rockford Memorial Hospital on the Rockton Avenue campus. REACT and other flights have begun using the helipad for patient transfers. The helipad includes state-of-the-art features, including an automated snowmelt heating system will ensure that the helipad is always clear of ice and snow. As the helipad project wraps up, even more investment is taking place on the Rockton Avenue campus with the resurfacing of the emergency department parking lot. #MercyhealthBuilds
