Ireland have great passion for contact sport. Gaelic football, Hurling, Rugby and some other native sports. USA have Football🏈 in all states and its influence is massive.
Rugby is a relatively new sport in the US in terms of an organized sport. There isn't much infrastructure at the youth level, but that is slowly changing.
