She is wearing blue belt. Those belts (red/blue)is what you wearing when you compete in WKF.nothing to do with Kyu/Dan grades.Chinto is Shitei kata so she must do it necessary if she compete like it or not thats the rules. She has understanding of kata the reason that dont make it very well is because (again)she is a little girl and still learning.I would like to see you in her age performing Chinto better. To judge only is easy...
Well then if she is starting why is she wearing a purple belt and doing chin to? hmmm. & Competition isn;t only for children.. clearly this is why adults also compete. Chinto is an advanced kata, hence why its 3rd kyu and above, you need some general understanding of kata to do it correctly.
Just a little kids that starting now.Nothing more nothing less. That is only kata competition (again for little kids).Real application of a Kata is a different story.
I know that it is shitei and i know what the belts are for and they aren't just for WKF... It looked like a purple belt in the video. that is all. Im not putting the kid down, its a good attempt but when i said first off was it isn;t great and like it or not, it isn;t. I wasn;t being harsh to the kid. good on her for giving it a go. Im only 19 myself. I'm not being horrid. Chinto is a difficult kata, I'm pretty sure i could do it slightly better because i understand the application.
Im not being horrible. I'm just stating what I see. thats what youtube can be great for... Im not saying I'm better than them, i would never say that and I'm not saying i know more than them but it is evident they don;t really know the application.
Comments are welcome for everyone but(dont take it personal)comments from Kuchi Bushi cant be the same with comments from people that walk the walk and have a level on the art.Its a bit of silly to have every white belt that cant perform one gyaku tsuki right judge champions or teachers with many years on the back.Again please dont take it personal your comments are welkome.
but that isn't my point. my point is. you don't have to be able to do the kata to understand the application. Even if i posted a video on here and you thought it was terrible you would be entitled you your opinion. when you post a video on the internet with an open comment box, you're offering and welcoming comments. if you don't want truthful comm ends, disable them! its the same as competition, when you step on that mat, you are being judged and letting others judge you.
excellent!
I agree...But we are talking about little kids here still learning.I whould like to see you performing Kata....
Great lets wait then to be 19 her too and see the difference.until then practice practice and practice...
What's up with the kiai thing?
